Amazing video. I just got into cigars and the lady selling me the cigars you recommended in another video was throwing these different sizes terms at me and I didn’t know. Because of that she was getting frustrated
Sorry to hear about that. There's a lot to learn about cigars when you're starting out and the technical terms can be overwhelming. Stay tuned in to our content and you'll be an aficionado in no time 👊
Excellent information! Thank you! I did not know about the sugar on tongue followed by water to deal with the quiziness on the stomach. I feel good there is a help for getting over that when I am smoking a strong cigar.
I love the vid - 1 correction plume does not exist ! its been investigated and it is mold . Do not buy cigars with that. It is not always bad , but it could be bad. Me i smoke it if it is not that mutch . But its not good to have that. Avoiding is the best.
*Watches video*: Yea, there's no such thing as plume LOL XD Seriously tho, there's some good youtube videos that have examined the plume topic pretty thoroughly. So far no physical evidence the "plume" is anything but a type of mold. Love your videos!
To my knowledge (and please let me know if i'm wrong): There are no documented cases of "plume". There are *lots* of documented cases of "plume" actually being mold when looked at under a microscope.
My very first cigar, I got that queasy feeling after smoking a bomb, I was really hungry at the time. Ever since then I've known to make sure I ate something before I smoke.
In my counrty Cyprus and in Greece, we mistakenly don't use a translated term for "cigar" and we instead call everything "πούρο" (neuter) or "πούρος" (masculine), which comes from "puro", the single origin cigar.
Your videos are tremendous, really informative, great reviews... I never knew that term "Dog Rocket", in some places in Latino-America we use the term "Mabinga", is a Cuban word for what I heard, bad quality cigar...
Had a couple of Romeo y Julietas that I was worried were growing mold. I didn’t want to jump the gun and toss them. Now I know they were just pluming. Awesome.
Drew Estate Factory Smokes are a perfect yard 'gar. Holts, the best cigar you sell (IMHO)is the Old Henrys. You guys are just another victim of the " Page".
Not at all!! If you feel like nubbing it, nub it. I do it all the time if the cigar is too good to end. Just don't stump it out in the ash tray at the end.
A traditional Churchill is actually 7x47 or 7x48, the 50RG is a newer invention. We actually don't know where the term "Stogie" comes from, the Conestoga, PA reference is one of several possible options. Clint Eastwood smoked cheroots (he actually hates smoking at all) which is a freeform roll that can range in quality - though most on the market today are pretty low quality unless you're on a farm sampling bales on a tour or something. I hate the plume vs mold debate. Plume has never once been proven to exist while mold is one of the most successful forms of life on the planet so odds are not in plumes favor even if it does exist under some mythical conditions. It very well may be real but your odds of getting it vs mold aren't good.
My brother you are one of the best cigar reviewers ever. You're awesome Thank you so much brother!!
Thanks so much for watching!
Dog Rocket, I'm using that one! 🤣
Really enjoyed that one. Didn’t know 10% of those terms
Glad it was helpful, thank you for watching!
Razor: I've heard some people refer to cigars that burn really sharp and consistent all the way around without any canoeing as a razor.
That's a good one, thanks for sharing!

A great tip to have in your back pocket when you need it 🙌
Was hoping for some Philly specific slang! Mazz definitely has the Philly pronunciation lol.
We'll cover "jawn" in a follow-up video 😂
Thanks for the education 🙏
I didn't know many of these slang words
Greetings from south africa 🇿🇦

Опять Эштон, а я три часа назад купил Маканудо в стеклянном тубусе! В Петербурге трудно найти Эштон!
You are truly the best.. subtle positive informative energy
Excellent video. I already understood about half of these, but the other half i didn't!
Bravo Antonio, bravo!
Thank you! ✊
Prego. Great slang lesson. So in the future I won't be going into a cigar establishment looking like a chooch or worse a mama luke 😎

Excellent info ma kat, Im new to your channel and learned alot from this video
Glad it was helpful!
Great Video! Very informative for a newer Cigar enthusiast such as myself!
Glad it was helpful!
Very informative video & I too don’t like the term “Stogi.”
The cigar that Clint was smoking is from Italy is called Toscanello and you can find it in most cigar shops across the USA
Great video. Some people use the term stogie more generically to refer to “cigars” more broadly too.
Dry draw I always heard it’s called cold draw
They can be used interchangeably
Both terms are used 😉
AWESOME CHANNEL. IM NEW TO TGE COGAR WORLD. THIS CHANNEL HAD HELPED ME SO MUCH. THANK YOU
Welcome! Glad to have you here 👊

Maybe it is mold. Some people like mold in their cheese so why not in a cigar?
'White mold' on cured meats is also safe to consume apparently.

Dog Rocket, that's fkn brilliant 😂😂😂.
My very first cigar, I got that queasy feeling after smoking a bomb, I was really hungry at the time. Ever since then I've known to make sure I ate something before I smoke.
That's the way to do it 👏👏
Corona is also a great size cigar if you don’t have a lot of time to commit
Cool video.. madurones
Your videos are the shit! Thank you
Much appreciated 👊 thanks for watching

wish you had shops in Toronto Canada !!!

I had a few bombs before lol they fun lol
Does your company ship to canada?
I have been seeing a lot og people talking about plume recently. I didn't think it was a thing. I thought it was just mold.
Arnold Schwarzenegger calls cigars, in general ,stogies, and when I was a teenager I smoked cigarettes and we called them stogies.
I'm definitely a number
Had a couple of Romeo y Julietas that I was worried were growing mold. I didn’t want to jump the gun and toss them. Now I know they were just pluming. Awesome.
Lol you need to take pics of plume to even prove that it exists
Drew Estate Factory Smokes are a perfect yard 'gar. Holts, the best cigar you sell (IMHO)is the Old Henrys. You guys are just another victim of the " Page".
Old Henry is a Holt's exclusive blend 😉 We also are always happy to price match
Is nubbing good or bad? Is it frowned upon in the community? I get all my monies worth! 😂😂
Definitely not! Check out this video on how far down you should smoke your cigar: ua-cam.com/users/shortsjCk_x_pXI6c?feature=share
Not at all!! If you feel like nubbing it, nub it. I do it all the time if the cigar is too good to end. Just don't stump it out in the ash tray at the end.
Didn't they do scientific tests to prove ploom was actually mold??😂
Would be accurate to pronounce "puro" or "robusto" in Spanish.
First cigar I smoked was a bomb… not a good experience.
It’s robooosto Lool
Even if we pronounced Robusto like it is in Spanish we'd have a lot of comments saying to pronounce it differently 😂 can't make everyone happy
@@holtscigars lol I can definitely see that happening 😂

Lol, I always NUB my cigars
Be careful using “Nica-bomb” next time you’re out
