Hey Sunshine ❤ I'm a fist year student at UWC and I have a few questions
1) If I want a single room is nsfas going to pay the full R5200 per month? If I'm not wrong nsfas pays a maximum of R45000 per year.
2) As a provisionally funded student, will I have to pay for the bus fee for the first few weeks before getting my nsfas allowance or will nsfas pay for my transport costs directly to the student accommodation?
3) How do we apply online?

1. Yes , nsfas will be able to pay the full amount
2. What are you talking about.🙈🙈🙈because when you live at the place it’s free transportation,as it’s the company’s transport.

I am new here. I want to know about something. My application for NSFAS has not been accepted yet, and I don't think it will anytime soon. NMU residences are opening soon, and I have to pay for Residence registration and downpayment, which is about R6600. What should I do?

With this accommodation you can still apply as they have transport for you guys
And most students are CPUT students that live there
This Accomodation does have a bus to D6

@pheleliswamncwango7979 I'm not staying there yet but going next week, basically there are mostly single rooms(the single rooms are same price as shared rooms at other locations) left but that just means your stuff will be safe, you'd have to take the cput(if you are cput) shuttle from there to Belleville then from Belleville you can go to your required campus, there are cput kids that would make your stay better like giving proppet advice on shuttle routes etc, plus the are in my opinion is good

Hey sweetie, i lived in Swansa accommodations but like in the houses , I personally have a good experience with them no complaints however if you need something to be attended to you need to be persistent otherwise I’m happy so far and I’m going back … you also get your own fridge, desk and cupboards

Yes, if you stay in a single you pay R1000 monthly and you don't get it back at the end of the year
If you stay at a sharing you pay 1k a month and you get it back at the end of the year
