Definitely by far the best individual NBA Playoffs performances in history. Never in the history of basketball has one man carried a very mediocre and ragtag supporting cast to such dizzying heights. Dude, they nearly won Game 1 in Oakland in the Finals agains the Warriors superteam. With that supporting cast!! If JR Smith doesn't do - well - a JR, they are 1-0 as massive underdogs and who knows how far that series goes with their confidence sky high. The JR brain fart and Lebron injuring his hand punching a wall after robbed us of a final series for the ages. I think Cleveland still loses but I bet they take 2 or even 3 games.

This 2018 Lebron, is on different morph. Played on all 82 games; even played a game for the entire 48mins; #4 seed swept the #1 seed, took a promising Celtics team to a G7. He really carried this Cavs team on his back. Sadly but he faced a stacked GSW.

Seriously tho everybody stood still other than lebron. Tyron lue doesn’t know how to coach the new level,fast moving offense but Lebron did from his Miami days. He tried to get the team with him but nobody but love and JR was attempting to help so he literally had to do everything himself.

In comparison. LeBron’s Miami “superteam” only went 9-9 without him. And his 2016 championship team went 4-19 without him. Jordan’s supporting cast was WAY better than any LeBron team

man, this postseason changed me from a Lebron hater to the Lebron fan. I have never seen one player carry a team as much as Lebron did this year. this was straight up special and the fact that in game 1 of the finals his team let him down is so disappointing.

This is my favorite version of Lebron. Played all 82 games, absolute dominance in playoffs and last year in Cleveland. Also one time I’ve watched all the games in a season.

I can’t wait, a 6’9 PF/PG who flops for calls is a disgrace….Magic played in the 80s against much stronger defense. Todays game is a 6’9 PG/PF vs no interior defense, small lineups, no hand checking, and the 5s being stretch shooters with zero interior defense. Of course LBJ would score against that…. If you put MJ or Kobe in either of their prime years against todays defense, they would have 50 every night!!!

I've been watching LeBron since the early stages of his career. This is the best I've ever seen him. If this ended with a finals win people would talk about it so much more but sadly that Warriors team was unbeatable. 2018 playoff LeBron was personally the best player I have ever witnessed play the game of basketball. And it isn't particularly close.
Sucks he really has 0 help at all, literally. He has to play GM, has to be the ACTUAL coach and the facilitator for the offense. No wonder we rarely see on ball defense. Since he had help in Miami, and a coach and GM, he was able to actually focus on playing basketball. And he had a reliable team

After his 3rd ring in 2016 , Lebron is substantially better than Jordan was after his 3d ring the 95-98 seasons, the 2nd 3peat. But Jordan didn't have to deal with the 2nd best player in the world joining a record breaking finals opponent. Itd be the equivalent of Hakeem Olajuwon joining the Phoenix Suns that Jordan barely beat in 93 in the 94 Finals and then in 95 Jordan plays the prime Barkley and Hakeem Suns again but without Pippen.
But instead Jordan retired in 94 and gets a pass in 95 for being rusty and 2 imaginary championships people think he would've won if he never retired and Lebron gets 2 more finals losses for haters to unfairly judge him on.
