But I love their songs nightcored (sometimes more than the original, especially this song) I think its because of the change in speed makes it catchier and more upbeat since their lyrics match the speed in nightcore more.....

It sounds more like it's saying "pay checks of lovers" and it would make sense considering the previous line was "I only thinking in the form of crunching numbers, in hotel rooms"
