You are in the right place to be living in China, Stu. The way you care and look after your parents is very Chinese indeed. Lovely family, lovely people :-). All the best from NZ
Hello, I am a Chinese college student. I am doing research on the effectiveness of overseas Internet celebrities in spreading Chinese stories. I need to interview several overseas audiences for an in-depth interview, mainly focusing on why I watch these videos and whether these videos have an impact on China’s impression. Improvements: Can you accept my interview? If possible, please leave your contact information. I will be very grateful.
A filial son , rarely seen amongst western people of such profile , bringing his parents out for a tour and enjoying the sights , culture and foods . Well done , your kids will reciprocate your kindness.
Love seeing your parents! They are so lovely 😍 Can't stop laughing at the part... meimei tookaway the milk pudding Bobu was eating, and Bobu kept staring at the bowl 😅
Yes, Dad was looking wistfully at the bowl of milk pudding when Mum took it away. He then took a long suck at his soft drink. 😂
All you didn't go to Parisian Macau? incomplete !😅

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is truly a human miracle. China is a magical country that always gives people surprises. Thank you for your video.
Thanks for watching, and the bridge is really quite something
There’s nothing better than making your parents happy, to show your love and care for them! Bravo, I am happy to come across your video, thanks mate!
Thank you so much! Glad you like the videos.
You are probably one of the very few youtubers who would bring his parents around China, taking them on trips and having them try all kinds of different food, well done
Welcome to Macau 🎉 What a lovely family ❤ Good to see you guys enjoy your time in Macau 😊
Portuguese and Chinese cultures go so well together! Love the Portuguese-style cobblestone pavement in the old center of Macau at 5:04! Inspired by Roman mosaics, the cobblestone pavement developed as we know it today in the 18th century during the rebuilding of the city of Lisbon after the earthquake of 1755. It was an ingenious way of reusing the earthquake rubble as Lisbon was covered in limestone and basalt. Stone cubes created decorative black and white patterns adorning pedestrian and public areas without the use of mortar. Of course once they started doing this in Lisbon, they wanted to do it in their colonies like Macau! Copacabana Beach in Brazil famously has this style, though they did this at Copacabana in the 1930s after Brazil declared independence in 1822.
The Eiffel Tower and Westminster right across from each other...the road in the middle really is the English Channel 😂. And who knew it was so easy to walk from Paris to Venice lol. The cool hotel at 17:42 is the Morpheus, the first exoskeleton free-form high-rise, inspired by Chinese jade carving! The statue at 5:54 is Luís de Camões who is considered a national icon in Portugal for being their greatest poet. The day of his death in 1580, June 10th, is Portugal's national day. The Ruins of Saint Paul's was originally built in the late 1630s and it was one of the largest churches in Asia at the time, however the reason it became ruins is because of a fire during a typhoon in January 1835. Japanese craftsmen expelled from Japan for being Christians in 1587 worked on Saint Paul's! The religion would remain banned in Japan until the 1870s.

A wonderful son 👍👏👏👏, to take parents travel around Hong Kong & Macau, to taste all popular food, to film all foot steps & records for long long times to remember 👍❤️🌹🧳
Your dad is eating everything, that's what I like to see, prepare to try anything. ❤❤
Macau looks so crowded! The beef brisket and cuttlefish fish cakes looked delicious! I never knew imitations of British buildings were there~ Bob's characterization of sweat as "lactating" is hilarious!
welcome to Macau. l live in Macau over 30 years. It is a beautiful city.👍
I live in Macau, but I haven't taken the taxi with Beckham. Thanks to sharing this great experience.
It's free, so you might as well try it. Thanks for watching!
That hk, zhuhai/macao sea crossing is a magnificent feat of civil engineering. Well worth the $33 hkd(oap) ticket price. Go to zhuhai first, then walk over to macao to play the fruit machines 😂
Thanks for sharing, stu 👍
Welcome to HK n Macao, a lovely family, do stay longer to enjoy the food...
Can’t stop watching Bobu&meimei’s video❤ Love them. Thanks Stu~~
So Macanese egg tarts are a bit different from the pastel de nata in Portugal. Egg tarts were first introduced to Macau by Andrew Stow, a British pharmacist who became a baker. After having the original in Portugal, he returned to Macau and experimented with his own Macanese version. He proceeded to open Lord Stow’s Bakery in Coloane in 1989 and their popularity in Macau soared. Lord Stow's Bakery is now a chain and expanded to places like Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Japan! In 1999, Andrew sold his recipe to KFC so they too could sell them (which they do for their Asia market like Singapore). Andrew sadly passed away from an asthma attack in 2006, but his family continues his legacy. There are also Guangzhou-style egg tarts, derived from English custard tarts which originated from Guangzhou's trade with European powers in the early 20th century.
For the history of the original pastel de nata: They were originally created by monks at the Hieronymites Monastery in the Belém district of Lisbon before the 18th century. At the time, monasteries used large quantities of egg-whites for starching clothes, such as friars and nuns' religious habits. It was quite common for monasteries to use the leftover egg yolks to make cakes and pastries, resulting in the proliferation of sweet pastry recipes throughout the country. In the aftermath of the Liberal Revolution of 1820, following the dissolution of religious orders, the monks started selling pastéis de nata at a nearby sugar refinery to bring in revenue. In 1834, the monastery was closed and the recipe sold to the sugar refinery, whose owners in 1837 opened the Fábrica de Pastéis de Belém which still exists to this day!
Super interesting
WOW! What a history.
Good one Stu. Your reading of Chinese is very impressive. And that look of your dad when your mum took away the milk pudding is so hilarious. All in all your a good son for giving your parents a great experience ❤❤❤,👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it

Jenny!
What a cute couple! I really love your folks, Stuart.
Me too!
😊I wish all of you happiness, happy everyday ❤
I smiled from beginning to end watching this video. So sweet to see this filial son 孝順仔 and his appreciative parents enjoying a day in Macau. In a perfect world, all children should be like Stu and all parents like his parents. Really love your videos and hope many westerners from abroad come to HK and Macau to see for themselves how exciting these cities are.
You Dad is superb, and Mum too❤
Glad you enjoyed it Ray
Welcome to Macau, this is my home, I have always watched your videos, thank you for liking China❤
Thank you! 😃
Thanks for sharing! Never been to Macau. Great video!
What lovely family. Such video puts a smile on one's face.
dad is so funny and adorable!
Welcome to Macau❤
so lovely old folks
You've missed the main square in Macau at night. It's very beautiful when lit at night.
I know. So sad.
Macau seems a nice place to visit but sadly it wasn’t in my bucket list although I’ve been to Hong Kong 5 times and almost the whole of China for the past 26 years. Very nice of you to take your parents around and getting them acquainted with the Chinese culture and food. They are adventurous enough to try out different Asian cuisines outside their comfort zone. The best 双皮奶 and ginger 撞奶 is found in a famous shop with a long history in Guangzhou. Enjoy your vlog and keep up the good work! ❤
Thanks Aki
I bought my mom to Macau few months ago, your vedio recalled my memory 😊
Hope you enjoyed it!
Our whole famiky loved this video of Macau, especially with guest appearance from Beckham. :) However, am in awe of how many places you guys went to in a single day with public transit. Was exhausted watching this episode and hope your folks were ok afterwards. ❤
Welcome to Macau. Your parents are lovely and I can tell your dad really enjoyed the food😂
You three are stars now👍👍👍

Haha You know Ngau Kee curry noodles! Great job
Another nice video of the three of you! Love those Portuguese tarts. Got mine from Koi Kei (they sell nice peanut candies soft, chewy or crunchy, your dad would love them (available in China I'm told)).
I also bought a box of six to share with my family. We sat under a tree. After eating & enjoying the first tart, took a bite of a second one......splat,bird doo-doo it my wrist, same hand as tart. For bit I was thinking, did any get on the tart?! Do I eat or throw away?! It's too yummy, eat it, & I did! Came from California, had to eat it!
Just pretend it didn't happen, brush it off and eat anyway Theresa! Hope you're well.
There are many delicious foods in Macau and historic of Portugal Buildings and Church.

Welcome to Macau! Lovely parents~
Your mum and dad are so cute 😘😘
Wonderful family , welcome to China, Hk and Macau 😊
Welcome to Macao, hope u have a lovely day in Macao.
Haha...the look your dad gave to the Milk Pudding had me in hysteria...he doesn't like it, does he? Honestly 1 day is not enough to really enjoy Macau.
He's wary of anything that looks similar to British rice pudding; he's not a big fan of that.
Oy! My problem is never finding delicious food in China... My problem is finding Too Much delicious food in China! I was surprised to see how inexpensive the tickets were! I would have expected quite a bit more!
Very reasonable!
We do have chicken biscuits in Malaysia, nice Vlog show us Macau

It is tough to pick up rice. We usually use spoons to dine with rice on plates
I'd say that's a pretty dang good copy of the Venetian in Vegas!
Great video!
You should have let your parents sit at the front seats on the bus since it was their first time crossing the bridge 🤭
