i really love this drama, being a malay, it makes me feel ashamed hearing their observation about the working culture of malays. of course, cultural differences are inevitable, but being punctual should be the norm, and it is doable. having said that, i need to mention some of malay directors who are known to be strict and disciplined such as suhaimi baba and arwah yasmin ahmad. i hope jasmine and ernest would get chances to work with such directors. last but not least, i really really love this drama, so much emotions going on, and it really draws me into the story. maybe the best Malaysian drama I've ever watched
Frankly speaking, when I watched the movie , i really feel the word bring a strong consensus to me ( it is really like a foreshadowing 鋪墊or伏筆 ) Sebenarnya, apabila saya nonton filem ni, saya juga rasa perkataan-perkataan tu bawa konsensus yg kuat kepada saya ni .. KUDOS to pengarah filem
I thought Sofia is a 'abc' that don't know speak Chinese becuz her accent when speaking Malay and act like a Malay who try the best to pronounce Mandarin,she is a very success actor,hope can see more of her movies in future
I wish i (and all other hijabis) was this free to express themselves and can even dream to have such a job like being an actress or being exposed tl public, coz in my place we just cant, not just because people are judgemental but because our religion's belief states that we cant flaunt our beauty (faces and other parts as well) for its private just for our creator and husband to be.
