No, its not a Throttle body issue,in my case was the exhaust VVT and its located on front bottom of the Head ,you can look it from under the car by the pasanger front tire.
How did you decide to remove and test the exhaust solenoid? It would have helped if you showed the removal of the part, but I understand that the boss was watching and there is only so much you can film when you work for the Man, and not yourself. I have the same rough idle, engine light on, and same codes, P0014 and P0300 on my 2014 Rogue SV, same engine. I changed the oil and filter, added STP fuel injector cleaner to gas tank and drove vehicle for a bit, and still same problem. My Autel reader says P0014 - Camshaft Position Sensor over-advance or system performance bank1. SUV has 2 of those sensors at top of engine. I removed both and interchanged them still with same result. Does it mean that they’re both bad at same time, or is it something else? These are sealed units not like the one you tested which shows it clicking or not when you test. How would I test these two? want to make sure before I order parts. Your help is appreciated. Thanks
Remenber Their are called VVT (variable. Valve Timing)thats their job adjust the timing as ECM requieres ,they work with oil ,if low oil pressure ill give you that code so P0014 is especific for Bank 1 Exhaust side.
Hey Juan we just changed our plugs and one coil in a 2013 Altima now it idles real rough and isn’t getting much power. There is fire and spark in all plugs now. We unplug the CPS and it doesn’t shut off or anything. Could that be an issue or should we check the sensors on the side? Thanks!
Can you please tell us which model of the ENCORE code reader you’re using? The Autel, AutoLink I’m using does not identify the type of vehicle , and it gives a different description for code P0014.

Cuando son los phasers por lo regular hacen ruido al prender despues de el carro estar apagado por un periodo de tiempo asegurate que los alambres esten bien.
Ya cheque todo el cableado y trate de alinear los phaser con el scanner pero no tube suerte, voy a cambiar todo el motor ya que me sale más barato y rápido que comprar el timing set y los phasers.
Seguro que cambiaste el vvt que falla? Dices que los trataste de alinear con el scanner ,nunca habia escuchado que se alinearan, y desconectados si los conectas de uno en uno empezando por el supuesto malo que hace?
@@themasonkids4730 it will hrd start but its going to run rough ,that valve adjust the timing ,but if it doesnt work the car will set P0300 wich it describes as multiple misfire, as off timing.make shure you have the correct oil level before replace the valve.
Hey Juan, I know this post is old but I just bought a 2015 Nissan Altima s with a 2.5 on Friday and took it to Walmart to have oil changed and they said it was misfiring with p0107 and p0325 codes. Now it starts but has rough idle and check engine light and stalls when you try to accelerate sometimes. Any ideas on what might be causing it to misfire?
I ordered a new set of coils. Just gonna change the bad one for now and go from there. Inside where the bad coil goes in the engine is awfully rusty, but the other ones look brand new on the inside. Is that going to be a problem? The rust on the inside of he coil housing

P0303 significa que tu cilindro numero 3 no esta trabajando ya sea por mala bujia ,bobina inyector ,un alambre roto o tu computadora no le manda señal ya sea a la bobina o al inyector. O en el peor de los casos no tiene vompresion ya sea por nala válvula o falla mecanica en el piston o anillos y el P0300 dice que es mas de un cilindro fallando tal vez todo se deva a insuficiente presion de gasolina o de algun sensor fallando 02 sensor Mass airflow sensor,o una manguera de vacio o la junta de inducción. Eso se refiere a unas flaps que tiene en el manifold de admisión segun el codigo hay un motorcito que abre esas plaquitas al prender y acelerar fihate que ese motorcito este conectado,y que el conector este bien, que no esten rotos los alambres

Middle. Front.) Instead of Middle and that person said that the part number was de same, I never had to replace all 3 I replaced Ill say 5 and all 5 were all middle position as we identified for this explanation and I hope its clear just for the explanation.So Dealer recomends all 3 mi opinion its up to your pocket ,If It woud be my car ,I just replaced the damaged one.
@@tylenb1 those are Transmissión codes P0841 Transmission pressure senson most likely bad sensor and P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor , before you replace them they must be diagnosed , may be electrical problem like broked wires. Bad conection or bad sensors.

I have the code 0300 and 0014. We changed the oil and the variable timing solenoid and the car still does rough idle exactly the same as your video. We then replaced a camshaft solenoid on the back of engine and two solenoids on top of engine. Still doing the same things. I got another variable timing solenoid and replaced the other new one. It is still doing the same in the video. A mechanic told me it could be the timing chains and it would cost me $1400 to replace. Another said it could need relearned but I am wondering if it could be a bad connector to the variable timing solenoid? I am not a mechanic so please explain to me as easy as possible what you think it could be or what I might need to do. Thank you :)
@@cjuanchy Ok, will do, also, could a faulty wire or adapter connection cause the issues. I only ask because when I was putting the solenoid in I felt a little shock and snap like sounds .. yes, I know .. I will disconnect battery next time, what is your thought on that.

Did you gap the spark plugs? What was the reason for replacing them and the coil?

Tengo el mismo problema ya cambie los solenoids, el aceite que lleva y sigue igual, me parece que los cam phaser son el problema

Si le desconecto los solenoides de emisión y escape el motor queda sin ninguna falla de tiempo

The problen is that the Variable Valve Timing is inop wich causes the engine to act like off timing and multiple cylinders, so it must be replaced
So this causes for car not to wanna start as well?

Check MAP and KNOCK sensors connections they may been disconnected
@@cjuanchy I checked both sensors and both seem connected. Then I began to hear a noise from the second ignition coil and I pull it and it looks fried
