if you see a dj without a headset it is probably fake and all pre precorded. Because to change tracks you need to perfectly sinc your songs. Without a headset you cannot hear your next song. So you can not properly sinc you songs

So I started around 93,I was 14 years old,and everything was on turntables. You had to have skills back then, learning to beat match, scratch, beat juggle, ect. But now Djing has became a joke,anyone can just jump on these controllers, or even the cdj nexus, have everything synced, or what I'm seeing alot more of,Djs already having a set all ready pre recorded. And with esp good looking girls, they can sit behind Dj gear, play with knobs,and most of the crowd will go crazy, just because the girls are hot and dressed sexy. I no a girl that was a stripper out here in Chicago, she moved to Fl around 3 years ago,decided she wanted to become a Dj. She is playing every weekend at different places, and not cuz shes good, i even offered her lessons on how to beat match. She said yes,but we never did it,the thing is shes really good looking and dresses half naked on stage. All these button pusher Djs,are making it look bad,for Djs who grew up,putting hours a day,just to learn how to do different things,and now you have people, just hit the hot cue button, and your in a brand new track, its a joke.
