I'm 50/50 on getting this currently. I thought I'd be able to sell the ps5 and get this for 300$ with a disc drive included. Most likely I'll still get it but I feel I'm being ripped off some here. I currently have a 4090rtx so I'd really be only getting this for games that aren't coming out on PC at all or at launch. I'm mostly thinking about this for when GTA6 comes out and I've been wanting to play FF7 rebirth so I'll probably get this for that as well. But man honestly if I wasn't in a good financial position I'd never even consider this.
Great point and I'm sure many fall into that category (including myself). It's not a great value and hard to justify the cost for what you get. It's a total unnecessary luxury item that as I've said won't appeal to most people. But I still think that once people see more games support it and see the impact it will have, lots of folks will still want it 😉
