We can’t change the country faith if do not understand what is our major problem.
The major cause of our consistent failure is lake of establishment … it’s the establishment who can set a clear and long term direction of country.

Sir, I commented on same question some months back and you had pinned that comment.
I still stand by my point of view.
There is no Establishment in Pakistan.
Army Chief is selected and appointed by international establishment and they control rest of the things through him . Other Generals in line are trying hard to improve their CV for same appointment after Chief is retired.
So, end of the day, it's actually one person.
When General Bajwa visited US last time, he took General Asim along although he had not any liking for General Asim.
Probably he was made to bring him along to US.
Recently, when General Asim visited US, Gen Nadeem (ISI) was with them. General Asim also has no liking for General Nadeem. Probably, he was also made to bring him along.
It's all working as a set procedure. That's why, no senior general will ever go against the running policy of Chief. As all these policies have approval from international establishment and next generals are only trying to tow the same line, rather trying to convince US that they can do even better than the existing Chief.

When Mush was brigadier & so many times when not in sense, was listened that " U will see I will be your Army Chief ".
What we have been believing that officers go to US for training ! Wrong & nonsense indeed.
Their credentials are scrutinized & their obedience is checked in the higher quarters of the Big Bosses.
When new army chief is sworn in, the present chief hand over the stick to the new chief and say to his ear that now your boss is Eastern command of USA. You have to obey them and rule on Pakistan by hook and crook.

Very provocative question, the reason that this system is not collapsing is to not think and raise question by lower officers to primary officers. Their training is to only follow order that's why system is existing. But it is no more will happen, all officers are looking what the mess is spreading

The reason so many powerful establishments exist in US is because of the system of accountability which is part of the system. We don’t have any such system because we are still following the traditions of British Raj, where goras held the supreme authority.
