Glad you had a good trip. Out of Homer that time of year can get sketchy! Just wanted to add a word of advice. The legal limit for halibut caught on a charter is one fish under 23" and one fish over 23". From your content it shows Kevin catching two halibut over 23" That's a violation. The charter skipper should know that. I'd advise compliance with the AK fishing laws and NOT documenting your violation on video and posting for the world to see.
Thank you Pat for your concern. We did not go out on a charter. We were on a private family boat, cousin is the owner and operator, and there were more people on the boat who caught fish and did not want to be included in pictures or video… and isn’t the limit at 28” over/under? I do understand your concern though and I appreciate rule followers.
No worries. Sorry to stick my nose in your business. I live in Homer and have seen so many folks who come and get sideways with the regs. It really is confusing. Hope you can come back and enjoy another adventure @@CKAdventures2023
@patmcdonnell4971 it's actually 28 inches and one has to be under and one can be any size. Not trying to be mean or anything just thought you should know
