Pikey Peak Trek 2020

Pikey Peak: Edmund Hillary’s Best Viewpoint in Nepal.
Recently I went to Pikey Peak trek, which is newly introduced and less discovered trekking route in Solukhumbu district of Nepal. It is the closest alternate to crowded Everest Base Camp trek. The view from the top was breathtaking. It turned out to be one of the best short treks I have ever done in Nepal. It offers everything that we could ask for during any high altitude trekking. I highly recommend this wonderful trek to everyone who loves nature, mountains and trekking. I hope you will enjoy watching this video.

For your reference, below I am posting the itinerary that I had followed during my trek.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Kathmandu - Bhulbhule (Jeep ride + short hike)
Day 2: Bhulbhule - Pikey Base Camp (Sunset view from the top of the Pikey Peak, 90 mins from Pikey Base Camp to the top of the Pikey Peak)
Day 3: Pikey Base Camp - Lodhing - Salleri (Phaplu)
Day 4: Salleri (Phaplu) - Kathmandu (Jeep ride)

Which season it is? Is October month gonna be too cold.

It was winter season of 2019, I was there on the first week of December.
October is the most favourable time to travel in the mountains in terms of surreal views, best weather and warm temperature.
