I'm making mine right now with inexpensive, irregular 10/0 seed beads for the main chains (bright pink lined clear) and better 11/0 Tohos for the picots (lighter pink lined crystal). The irregular beads combined with smaller picots give it a more organic feel; the crystal outer shell really picks up the light. Great way to use up 'crummy' beads that might have been languishing in your stash since your earlier beading days.
Using wire guardians to form the loops, so I can change out the earring finding if necessary. (Ok, I confess---I also have no idea where my post findings are.😉) They look like they'll end up about 3" on the drop, using the larger 10/0 beads. Fun project!! Thanks Donna and Juliet!!😀

Hi Juliet, lovely cheerful summery design. I did mine in two shades of coral with the pale shade making the picots. I put it on a rose gold ball post finding. I have made these in Gorgeous Silver lined Teal, Silver lined Pommegranite Red x 2, Silver lined Navy Blue. They make fast, Feel Sooo Amazing! Look Professional. I absolutely love them.
I really want a Necklace now. I am so used to the Coral finger strands, I can make them fast now, but I don't know how many inches to make it, how long, how wide? I need Y😍U telling me how to do the sizing? Pretty Please?

Hi Lorna, I love coral stitch too - it so effective! I’d go for a 17 inch long string of 11/0 and then start the coral stitch from the centre and work out in one direction - starting longer and getting shorter as you go - make notes as to how many beads you’ve used in each branch so that you can mirror it for the other side of the necklace.
