I got out of bed, had breakfast, washed my face but there was something weird with my reflection... And then I woke up on my bed! I was admittedly frustrated so I had a quick breakfast, washed, went to dress but my clothes had something weird going on... And I woke up another! Bloody! Time! And it happened AGAIN! By the time I actually woke up I was really pissed off, pinched myself, went to angrily watch my reflection on the mirror and made sure this time it was for real! Needless to say, I was stupidly tired and it wasn't even 8 am yet!

I'm a lucid dreamer, and the worst thing you can do is ask for a friend. Whenever I do that, I end up realizing I'm dreaming. Since this person is just part of my mind, they always know what I'm thinking. They’ll usually say something like, 'Don’t think about that-just enjoy the moment.' I'm just glad they say that instead of, 'Wait, I’m not real! AHHH AHHHHHHH!'
There's a type of dream that's similar to yet very different from recurring dreams. These types of dreams I'm referring to are called "persistent realms". Despite the esoteric sounding name it just means you have dreams that continue in a persistent world. You have recurring characters, storylines, memories etc. It's pretty fun, it's like having two lives

My prophetic dream story that I have, it’s gonna sound crazy, but I swear on my life that this actually happened. I was a freshman in high school watching my school’s lacrosse game, and we were winning 5-6 in the fourth quarter with like 10 minutes left. All of a sudden I was like “I dreamt this” and I said to the person sitting next to me “I dreamt this, we lose this game 6-12” and the person is like “no way, we’re up by 7 points with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter there’s no way.” But as the quarter went on, the other team just kept scoring until by the end of the game, the score was in fact 12-6, and my school lost. This was almost 4 years ago, but I still remember it because it was so crazy.

i once had a healing dream. My dog had recently passed away at the time. Now, it's important to mention i'm not religious, I don't believe there is a god or gods, but this dream made me think. It started out white, and then all of a sudden I see my dog, and she looks really happy. I pick her up and all of a sudden im sitting on my bed (which is strange as she was never allowed upstairs) but regardless I remember giving her a treat and hugging her, and then I woke up. I woke up crying a little bit but i'm glad I had that dream. She passed away suddenly but surrounded by family. The dream felt oddly real but also like a different world. I'd like to think that if there was somewhere we go after life, she did end up in a place like that. ❤️
My friend actually battled one of those for half a year in 2022. As much as it sounded too much, but they really sound genuine and scared, and recalls every bit with extreme detail.
I have that too sometimes, I think it's completely normal. Sometimes I also have a dream that I've previously had, but this time I respond differently because I know what would happen if I did what I had done before. It's all a mix of recurring, healing and lucid.

I just stopped watching horror and then I just completely stopped getting nightmares. I found out that if you only think about it then you don't get nightmares from it. If you actually sense [see, hear] it you will likely get a nightmare

I have had this crazy prophetic dream that would happen randomly over the course of 2 months and for some reason happened recently. My prophetic dream was like the backrooms, the first level I can remeber so clearly was a infinitely expanding restroom where you have to go into it a bit and find the shower area where billions of other people are also stuck and have accepted defeat. There are also many other levels always involving puzzles. It got way creepier the more levels I passed there was this one level that took place in a medium sized bedroom with a entity or a demented monster that tried to eat me alive. As soon as I left that it lead me to a circus tightrope which was also scary as shit. Anyways there was a lot more levels/areas that I forget but there are a few that I still remeber such as a Wild West area being the furthest level I made it too and a McDonald’s play place type area which involved a lot of puzzles. Anyways enough with this yapping because what really was scary is that there were other people who came along with me and they felt so real… it all felt so real, like it was in an alternate universe. There were billions of people in the infinite shower rooms and they all had no idea how they got there and neither did I but they never dared to leave the shower rooms because they knew it wasn’t safe. Some people I recruited to come along with me, most of them died many times I died and every time I entered the dream again I would start all the way from the beginning at the shower rooms. Keep in mind that I heard of the backrooms after this happened

Recently I dreamed about my crush while napping and told my friends about it, next day he wore the EXACT outfit and his hair was messed up exactly the same. When I first saw him I thought to walk up to him and yell at him (in my dream he made me upset) and I realized very suddenly that this wasn't a dream and that this moment was real. Shooken up I sank into my seat and wondered wth any of this means. I'm tired of dreaming about missing my alarm only to wake up 5 minutes before my alarm rings, going back to sleep, and actually missing my alarm :/

Funny thing is I used to have nightmares as a kid but they also acted as lucid dreams up until age 9 where I made some kinda pact with my nightmares for them to leave me alone. I forgot what the pact was but eventually I started receiving lots of prophetic dreams and these were either very good or very bad, which sometimes makes me question if I should do one action or if that’s just gonna trigger one of the bad prophetic dreams.

My worst nightmare: I remember being on my laptop then my mom called me, i went to her and she was watching her phone and i remember asking her something. Then i heard creepy music box music my mom said " whats that sound?" I went to the living room just to see all my friends dead on the floor with their no eyes. And near it was a bloody music box. Everything turned white. My heart fealt tramatized. I saw myself in a void and remember seeing creepy pictures everywhere. Then i saw the music box was infront of me and everything turned white again. I had a false awakening and then i saw something like a sleep paralysis demon coming towards me. Then i woke up.
Ok, none of these dream types are anything near what my dreams are. Mine are mostly completely black with noises. When I do see things, it’s like I’m observing someone else’s dream.

all my dreams are one of two things 1. a false awakening cycle that slowly gets shorter and choppier until i wake up for real 2. a terrible messed up but narratively cohesive situation that’s kind of like a nightmare but there’s no monsters it’s just mental and ethical turmoil

I can only lucid dream when I get mentally or emotionally shocked. And even then I can only nudge, not completely change the dream. The dream litterally freezes in time and I become conscious again while still sleeping. At that point i can let the dream to continue or force myself to wake up completely. This usually happens with nightmares. But once I had a dream in which my dog who passed away was back again again. I instantly knew i was dreaming and forced myself to stay within the dream. I did eventually wake up with tears streaming down my face. I dont remember much from the dream, but I do remember how happy and grateful I felt getting to see him one last time.

never had a lucid dream. i can only remember once being aware i was dreaming and immediatly waking up. never had a wet dream. my last nightmare was strange but funny. i was in a highschool during the bellringing watching the kids enter a classroom. i thought it was fun and i'm made me reminisce to my own highschool time. then someone asked me why i wasn't in class? apparently i was the teacher (i'm not a teacher, i work in a car factory). it turned out i quit my factory job to become a teacher with practically no training or experience. i was standing outside the classroom panicking and asking myself why in gods name i would quit my high-paying factory job to become a teacher! then i woke up with great relief. never had a recurring dream. false awakening dream. this one is hilarious! i was alone at home in my bed beating my meat. after i finished in a tissue i relaxed myself and apparently drifted off to sleep while letting my meat hang out of my pants. suddenly, my mother walks into my room asking about laundry! i jolt up, quickly hiding my junk only to realise i was alone. my mother never walked into my room. i don't know if that counts, but it felt like waking up twice. night terror. my father-in-law as these. and the way he describes them is terrifying! when he was young he witnessed his little sister getting hit by a car and her dying in his arms. traumatising. but now he gets nightmares where he would wake up and see his little sister standing by the foot of his bed staring at him in silence. this list also doesn't mention the granddaddy of all nightmares: sleep-paralysis. never had them but heard horrifying examples. a guy described only getting them if he wakes up lying on his back. if he keeps his eyes closed he only hears footsteps or breathing, feeling a presence, but if he makes the mistake of opening his eyes... jesus! his last dream he described was straight from a horror movie. he opens his eyes and sees a dirty old lady with long dirty hair in the corner of his room. he realises hes having an episode and quickly closes his eyes, but it's too late. he hears the lady quickly on bare feet running towards his him, he feels her jumping on his bed and she starts screaming in his face! he then wakes up. fuck that!

I exited the water closet (bathroom), and class was over. 'What?' I thought to myself. 'It’s already been an hour. I gotta stop by her house soon!' I rushed out and walked to my cousin's house to stay for a few hours. When I got home, there was a cookie pie on the counter. My mouth was watering; I could smell the freshly baked chocolate from the pie. My brother and I divided it into four pieces. I got two, and he got two. Something inside me snapped. 'I NEED THAT PIE,' I thought. I stole it from my brother's plate, expecting him to react negatively towards me. I tried to get out of the room, but as he pulled on my sleeve, I slapped him across the face. 'DON’T TOUCH MY PIE!' I yelled firmly. He started crying. My mind, already shocked, I began to run to my room, anxiously waiting for a scolding from my mother. As I sat down, all my feelings started to fade, and my dream was coming to an end. (Pause) This was an attempt at lucid dreaming when I woke up at 4:00 AM.

I've had reoccurring dreams about weird looking airplanes flying around in the sky. Not sure if that's linked with anxiety or not, since I tend to have this on a regular basis. I've had nightmares before too, and those are unpleasant. I've had a few "false awakening" dreams too, which actually trigger anxiety. Daydreaming is my favorite type of dreaming. I have full control of what it is I'm daydreaming about, and my mind just goes wherever it wants. Even into the fictional realm if it wants.

I was admittedly frustrated so I had a quick breakfast, washed, went to dress but my clothes had something weird going on... And I woke up another! Bloody! Time! And it happened AGAIN! By the time I actually woke up I was really pissed off, pinched myself, went to angrily watch my reflection on the mirror and made sure this time it was for real! Needless to say, I was stupidly tired and it wasn't even 8 am yet!

I'm a lucid dreamer, and the worst thing you can do is ask for a friend. Whenever I do that, I end up realizing I'm dreaming. Since this person is just part of my mind, they always know what I'm thinking. They’ll usually say something like, 'Don’t think about that-just enjoy the moment.' I'm just glad they say that instead of, 'Wait, I’m not real! AHHH AHHHHHHH!'
There's a type of dream that's similar to yet very different from recurring dreams.
These types of dreams I'm referring to are called "persistent realms". Despite the esoteric sounding name it just means you have dreams that continue in a persistent world. You have recurring characters, storylines, memories etc. It's pretty fun, it's like having two lives

My prophetic dream story that I have, it’s gonna sound crazy, but I swear on my life that this actually happened. I was a freshman in high school watching my school’s lacrosse game, and we were winning 5-6 in the fourth quarter with like 10 minutes left. All of a sudden I was like “I dreamt this” and I said to the person sitting next to me “I dreamt this, we lose this game 6-12” and the person is like “no way, we’re up by 7 points with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter there’s no way.” But as the quarter went on, the other team just kept scoring until by the end of the game, the score was in fact 12-6, and my school lost. This was almost 4 years ago, but I still remember it because it was so crazy.

i once had a healing dream. My dog had recently passed away at the time. Now, it's important to mention i'm not religious, I don't believe there is a god or gods, but this dream made me think. It started out white, and then all of a sudden I see my dog, and she looks really happy. I pick her up and all of a sudden im sitting on my bed (which is strange as she was never allowed upstairs) but regardless I remember giving her a treat and hugging her, and then I woke up. I woke up crying a little bit but i'm glad I had that dream. She passed away suddenly but surrounded by family. The dream felt oddly real but also like a different world. I'd like to think that if there was somewhere we go after life, she did end up in a place like that. ❤️

I have that too sometimes, I think it's completely normal. Sometimes I also have a dream that I've previously had, but this time I respond differently because I know what would happen if I did what I had done before. It's all a mix of recurring, healing and lucid.

I have had this crazy prophetic dream that would happen randomly over the course of 2 months and for some reason happened recently. My prophetic dream was like the backrooms, the first level I can remeber so clearly was a infinitely expanding restroom where you have to go into it a bit and find the shower area where billions of other people are also stuck and have accepted defeat. There are also many other levels always involving puzzles. It got way creepier the more levels I passed there was this one level that took place in a medium sized bedroom with a entity or a demented monster that tried to eat me alive. As soon as I left that it lead me to a circus tightrope which was also scary as shit. Anyways there was a lot more levels/areas that I forget but there are a few that I still remeber such as a Wild West area being the furthest level I made it too and a McDonald’s play place type area which involved a lot of puzzles.
Anyways enough with this yapping because what really was scary is that there were other people who came along with me and they felt so real… it all felt so real, like it was in an alternate universe. There were billions of people in the infinite shower rooms and they all had no idea how they got there and neither did I but they never dared to leave the shower rooms because they knew it wasn’t safe. Some people I recruited to come along with me, most of them died many times I died and every time I entered the dream again I would start all the way from the beginning at the shower rooms.

i OFTEN have prophetic dreams that are also re-awakening. I dream about my entire day then wake up to find out I was only dreaming so I go throughout my day getting massive deja vu and bits and peices of my dreams start occuring in real life. it's gotten to the point where I can't tell if I'm dreaming or not when I'm feeding by dog and suddenly remember that I've done this before at this exact time, but what was a dream or did I really just forget and feed my dog twice in the same hour?
Recently I dreamed about my crush while napping and told my friends about it, next day he wore the EXACT outfit and his hair was messed up exactly the same. When I first saw him I thought to walk up to him and yell at him (in my dream he made me upset) and I realized very suddenly that this wasn't a dream and that this moment was real. Shooken up I sank into my seat and wondered wth any of this means. I'm tired of dreaming about missing my alarm only to wake up 5 minutes before my alarm rings, going back to sleep, and actually missing my alarm :/

Funny thing is I used to have nightmares as a kid but they also acted as lucid dreams up until age 9 where I made some kinda pact with my nightmares for them to leave me alone. I forgot what the pact was but eventually I started receiving lots of prophetic dreams and these were either very good or very bad, which sometimes makes me question if I should do one action or if that’s just gonna trigger one of the bad prophetic dreams.

I remember being on my laptop then my mom called me, i went to her and she was watching her phone and i remember asking her something. Then i heard creepy music box music my mom said " whats that sound?" I went to the living room just to see all my friends dead on the floor with their no eyes. And near it was a bloody music box. Everything turned white. My heart fealt tramatized. I saw myself in a void and remember seeing creepy pictures everywhere. Then i saw the music box was infront of me and everything turned white again. I had a false awakening and then i saw something like a sleep paralysis demon coming towards me. Then i woke up.
Ok, none of these dream types are anything near what my dreams are. Mine are mostly completely black with noises. When I do see things, it’s like I’m observing someone else’s dream.

The fact that almost everyone I’ve met has had at least one prophetic dream is completely understated today. I wrote a big paper in college about dream incubation in the Bible; people used to do specific practices to produce a dream in which you can receive a spiritual vision.

One time I had a lucid dream and my school had been overtaken by these giant scorpions, spiders. I had been flying around blasting them with my laser hands and my friend almost died but I saved him. Once me and my friends had saved the school we found out the whole world had been taken over by scorpions and spider so we called the avengers. We all teamed up up to save the world, once we saved the world me and my friends got recruited to the avengers and went to the giant scorpion, spiders planet and killed the queen making the hive mind all fall down because they were no longer being powered by the queen. Then we go back to earth telling the world on the news we’re safe. The next day at school I also got to be the popular kid in school . Finally I went to stop Mysterio from spider far from home and lost all my powers and woke up.

all my dreams are one of two things
1. a false awakening cycle that slowly gets shorter and choppier until i wake up for real
2. a terrible messed up but narratively cohesive situation that’s kind of like a nightmare but there’s no monsters it’s just mental and ethical turmoil
I’ve had false awakenings before. I try to get out of bed and turn off my alarm. But it doesn’t shut off. It was on in real life and I was slowly waking up to go turn it off. Those dreams have happened to me so much.
Several times as I'm dreaming of doing something, and after I'm up at my daily routines (I may remember that dream) I go ahead and act out what I dreamed about.

I had a dream where Bumblebee, Scott Cawthon and Cyborg were at a school. Cawthon was the principal... I'm not even that big of a fan of Five Nights at Freddy's. 😵💫
I can only lucid dream when I get mentally or emotionally shocked. And even then I can only nudge, not completely change the dream.
The dream litterally freezes in time and I become conscious again while still sleeping. At that point i can let the dream to continue or force myself to wake up completely.
This usually happens with nightmares.
But once I had a dream in which my dog who passed away was back again again. I instantly knew i was dreaming and forced myself to stay within the dream.
I did eventually wake up with tears streaming down my face.

My best dream memory was being able to fly with full control in a lucid dream, in this beautiful environment. Tall islands with Mediterranean vegetation that rise ont of the sea. And the sunset had the most vibrant colours I’d ever ‘see’. In real life, my leg was in a brace, so my movement was limited. It was the perfect dream at the perfect time.

false awakening dream. this one is hilarious! i was alone at home in my bed beating my meat. after i finished in a tissue i relaxed myself and apparently drifted off to sleep while letting my meat hang out of my pants. suddenly, my mother walks into my room asking about laundry! i jolt up, quickly hiding my junk only to realise i was alone. my mother never walked into my room. i don't know if that counts, but it felt like waking up twice.
night terror. my father-in-law as these. and the way he describes them is terrifying! when he was young he witnessed his little sister getting hit by a car and her dying in his arms. traumatising. but now he gets nightmares where he would wake up and see his little sister standing by the foot of his bed staring at him in silence.
this list also doesn't mention the granddaddy of all nightmares: sleep-paralysis. never had them but heard horrifying examples. a guy described only getting them if he wakes up lying on his back. if he keeps his eyes closed he only hears footsteps or breathing, feeling a presence, but if he makes the mistake of opening his eyes... jesus! his last dream he described was straight from a horror movie. he opens his eyes and sees a dirty old lady with long dirty hair in the corner of his room. he realises hes having an episode and quickly closes his eyes, but it's too late. he hears the lady quickly on bare feet running towards his him, he feels her jumping on his bed and she starts screaming in his face! he then wakes up. fuck that!

I had a dream, so I went to taekwondo as usual. I was getting ready, warming up, and someone touched my hair with shampoo in his hands. Everyone was staring at me. So, I went ahead and started getting the already drying shampoo out of my scalp. When I looked to the right, there was a small Somali cat. It loved the water and wouldn’t get out.
I exited the water closet (bathroom), and class was over. 'What?' I thought to myself. 'It’s already been an hour. I gotta stop by her house soon!' I rushed out and walked to my cousin's house to stay for a few hours. When I got home, there was a cookie pie on the counter. My mouth was watering; I could smell the freshly baked chocolate from the pie. My brother and I divided it into four pieces. I got two, and he got two. Something inside me snapped. 'I NEED THAT PIE,' I thought. I stole it from my brother's plate, expecting him to react negatively towards me. I tried to get out of the room, but as he pulled on my sleeve, I slapped him across the face. 'DON’T TOUCH MY PIE!' I yelled firmly. He started crying.
My mind, already shocked, I began to run to my room, anxiously waiting for a scolding from my mother. As I sat down, all my feelings started to fade, and my dream was coming to an end. (Pause) This was an attempt at lucid dreaming when I woke up at 4:00 AM.

I had a false awakening dream where I was in my bed and a purple dragon broke my wall and came in then the dream restarted the clock was at 2:99💀 my brain thinks an hour is 100 minutes then ###########################################################
i once had i dream where i had a pet duck named literally "Ducky" and i brought him to school to show my friends, that duck had grew up with me since i was born, and when i came to school with Ducky, a group of bullies came to us and bullied us, then when they where done i realized that Ducky was gone and had been lost, he had orange eyes for some reason, he was lost until i found him when i was almost dying, i saw him waddle up to my deathbed and quacked a lot, i recognized him because of his eyes, and because his the only duck in my dream, i hugged him tight and cried because he grew up with me, then as my vision in my dream started to fade out, i woke up, with tears all over my face and bed with my mom worried calling someone. the end.
I had a false awakening once in high-school. I started my daily routine, and went to the the bathroom. I eventually realized something didn't feel right, and woke up realizing I had wet the bed.
I was absolutely convinced I was awake and nothing was different except the the puzzle someone scatched into the vinyl flooring. Mom was gonna be so mad at whichever brother did that...or so I thought.

My most recent dream of this from a couple years ago is me fighting Mickey riding a giant Pluto in a metal gear rising rules of nature style battle as I defend my room from the duo trying to escape my TV

i had a nightmare about my mom dying. it was one of the worst nightmares id ever had, just because it felt so real. i felt like i lived without her for a while and even greived her before waking up and hearing her tell my sister something. it was the biggest feeling of relief ever.
had a prophetic dream back in 2011 a week before my 21st birthday. It was a multi-vortices tornado and it was like within a mile of my house. Turned out it was the Joplin tornado nearly 60 miles away just a week later. During my dream I had no idea those types of tornadoes even existed.
I'm a ful time lucid dreamer. I only get normal dreams like 2 times a year. Its awesome.
Weird how only a 7 years ago I had nightmares 24/7 and took 3 hours to fall asleep.
Now I only "start" a movie (directed by me) and fall asleep like 5 min later.
i have these dreams that just like to call “awareness dreams” where I KNOW that i am dreaming and try to escape,most of the time the dream feels like it lasts an hour and the nost random shenanigans happen during this while i try to escape and snap back to reality,ive had three of these in a row and on the last one,i woke up with a smirk on my face.
I've had reoccurring dreams about weird looking airplanes flying around in the sky. Not sure if that's linked with anxiety or not, since I tend to have this on a regular basis.
I've had nightmares before too, and those are unpleasant. I've had a few "false awakening" dreams too, which actually trigger anxiety.
Daydreaming is my favorite type of dreaming. I have full control of what it is I'm daydreaming about, and my mind just goes wherever it wants. Even into the fictional realm if it wants.

I dreamed there were multiple tornadoes that were being controlled by a black and gray dragon. I ran to some ruins of a random city and tried to hide. Then the dragon found me, breathed fire at me, and ate me :/
I also dreamed I had the power to turn into an oversized rat that could jump very high. Other people had powers too and we just fought each other for fun the whole time.
After that, I was looking through a camera attached to a crocodiles head as it just stupidly ran around trying to eat people

I had a false awakening dream when I fell asleep late one night before school. it was mid November, and I dreamt that I was woken up at 6pm (I was scared shitless cause I thought I missed school) by my best friend who came over to my house for trick or treating.
