Hello David, after version NX12 Siemens started rolling distributions with frequent updates with version numbers 1847 , 1872 and 1899 which could be considered as NX13 , NX14 and NX15 and 1915 is an update of version 1899 so something like NX15.0.2. Thanks for viewing. Regards, Olaf
Yes, 1915 is newer than NX12. The major release version progression from NX12 goes to NX1847 (the year Siemens was founded), NX1872, NX1899, NX1926, NX1953, NX1980 and NX2007. There were 5 minor releases for each of these major release that incremented the major release by 4 (e.g. NX1899, NX1903, NX1907, NX1911, NX1915, NX1919). The next major release will have a new numbering scheme that is less confusing. The next major release dropping in June 2022 will be NX2206. 22 is for the last two digits of the year and 06 is for the month. The following release in December 2022 will be NX2212.
