I knew a guy that repossed a meter maid vehicle .It was less than a block from the police station. Can't rember if he drove a block but when stopped no guns were pointed but the problem was she left her gun in the vehicle so they needed that back . But wait there's more one of the officers detaining him had a vehicle on the list .showed the list to the chief and was able to come back that day for that one also (without) incident😅

You can’t just ignore a FOIA request for information that is supposed to be available to the public! It was on WGN TV’s website today.

An idea. Make a motion for several things. 1. Invoke emergency cost cuttings. A. Any official travel will be in Business class -upgrades not to be paid by Village Funds. Car rental for midpriced model only and only vehicle fluid (gas, windshield washer, etc) must be on receipt for payment. Personal vehicle shall include picture of gas gauge and mileage submitted with gas receipt for payment. B. A meal per diem based on cost of breakfast, lunch, dinner based on what average corporate normally given by corporations in destinations to be visited. Extra and alcoholic drinks not paid with Village Funds. C. Lodging for standard room at average hotel, upgrades are to be paid by the traveler. This one is big. No vendors will be paid from this moment forward with out past invoices and receipts published on Village website. Regardless an independent audit is required. Good luck you all!

I noticed some ask "Why hasnt the FBI arrested her, stepped in, etc" Soo, we know (via South Suburban News) that a FBI probe was started, and the intel they're starting to gather, right, but a case of this magnitude usually takes a LONG time. Part of this reason is because they wouldnt just investigate the Mayor. They would look into her, her administration, the heads, and even trustees if they believe they were complicit. Then the prosecutor forms the charges and the case is built until they are satisfied with the amount of evidence to take to trial. THEN we all get to watch while eating popcorn. 🍿 Then hopefully justice is served, House is voted in (if he isnt already) and this madness ends. It will take time tho.
The people of the community need to hold the Mayor and her henchmen accountable. I have been following these videos and this Mayor truly believes that the citizens are her subjects. And even after his death people continue to sing his praises! An idea. Make a motion for several things.
1. Invoke emergency cost cuttings.
A. Any official travel will be in Business class -upgrades not to be paid by Village Funds. Car rental for midpriced model only and only vehicle fluid (gas, windshield washer, etc) must be on receipt for payment. Personal vehicle shall include picture of gas gauge and mileage submitted with gas receipt for payment.
B. A meal per diem based on cost of breakfast, lunch, dinner based on what average corporate normally given by corporations in destinations to be visited. Extra and alcoholic drinks not paid with Village Funds.
C. Lodging for standard room at average hotel, upgrades are to be paid by the traveler.
This one is big.
No vendors will be paid from this moment forward with out past invoices and receipts published on Village website.
Regardless an independent audit is required.

I noticed some ask "Why hasnt the FBI arrested her, stepped in, etc"
Soo, we know (via South Suburban News) that a FBI probe was started, and the intel they're starting to gather, right, but a case of this magnitude usually takes a LONG time. Part of this reason is because they wouldnt just investigate the Mayor. They would look into her, her administration, the heads, and even trustees if they believe they were complicit.
Then the prosecutor forms the charges and the case is built until they are satisfied with the amount of evidence to take to trial.
THEN we all get to watch while eating popcorn. 🍿
Then hopefully justice is served, House is voted in (if he isnt already) and this madness ends.
It will take time tho.
The people of the community need to hold the Mayor and her henchmen accountable. I have been following these videos and this Mayor truly believes that the citizens are her subjects. The community must unite and inform the Mayor that they are no longer putting up with her and that they are demanding a full public accounting of the budget. When illegal activity is exposed, charges must be filed. If the Police Chief won't do his job, the Governor will be forced to step in.
Great admiration for Trustee House & the other honest Trustees who care about Dolton and the citizens. Hoping the mayor and her posse are put away soon.

I'm so glad the Trustees have this outlet to be able to speak. There are people all over the country who are outraged at what's going on in your town, and we see how you're being shut down, silenced, and belittled during meetings.
Obviously the police chief cannot be trusted to do his job - Is there any way you could call in the State Police to remove and arrest the Mayor? Surely the financial statements are enough to bring her up on charges of fraud and possibly theft. Civil suits for slander could be filed.
There's got to be some way you all can get help.
Indictments and removal of the Mayor, Village Administrator and the staff responsible for this absolute mess cannot come quick enough!

Do you have to pay vendors that the mayor hires, but they're not on the "approved" vendors list & ignoring established contracting process?
If she signed those papers or if their finance officer signed them the town has to pay the vendors. The board members suppose to approve it, but she’s a crook.
Why hasn’t the mayor and her crew been indicted yet? I have a strong feeling that their day to face judgment is coming soon!
