Great advice Dom. You speak the truth. I always make at least a pass line bet for the crew when I'm shooting. That bet will go a long way in getting the dealers & stick on your side & they won't be so aggressive when you miss the back wall or rush you when you're setting the dice.
If you are allowed to player control dealer bets, I prefer to place $1 cheques on each number and try to run them up by a combination of collect and pressing.

In one of the Biloxi casinos I play, I always put a buck on the pass line for the dealers and during a roll any residual white chips that get paid out become dealer bets on box numbers. I was on a monster roll where I had 500 on the 10. On my shot, I accidentally slammed my hand into the felt, and the dice fell out and rolled a couple of feet and landed on hard 10. I apologized and declared a no roll. The pit boss smiled and said accidents do happen and since the dice had forward motion, its a pay. They handed me close to a thousand, and I gave the dealers 400, since I didn't expect to get paid on that throw. So it pays to be a George at the tables.

That is what you called me on my first comment about your video. That I was a George. It didn't bother me at all. I will always make bets for the dealers at the table when I get the dice hot. If I'm winning so are they.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Dealers are human and they have bad days. but most are appreciative of "George's"

I always place a pass line bet for the crew when I start shooting, I also try to make sure everyone at my end knows I'm tipping the crew.(Without being too loud) so they tip too. It's amazing how many people play and don't tip. I once had a great roll and the players next to me won so much $$ that they tipped me. I saw the dealer was pissed so I played the tip for them after the other players left.

Which person should you give the tip to? The stickman? Or who do you say your pass Line bet is for when using that as a tip
I don't like to talk to the stick or dealers at a table. What I recommend is to put a $1 chip on top of your passline bet and a $1 chip along side of your bet. First - the passline bet is what any intelligent dealer wants his or her tip to be on because on the comeout roll that bet has a positive expectation of winning. Next, you don't have to say anything to the dealers because they know that a $1 chip alongside your passline is a tip for them. The $1 chip on top of your bet accomplishes two things - if you win your passline bet, the dealer will take his $2 win, (the original $1 plus the $1 win) and say thank you .... second say your passline bet is a $10 bet you will get paid $11 and you can replace the $1 that was won. So if you roll for 5 hours, you will be only tipping a total of $2

Actually the best bet for the dealers is a passline bet - because it has a positive edge on the first roll and a tip is only good if the dealers get paid

When’s the best day and time to play in Vegas to insure that you get a good position at the table and it’s not so crowded it takes 2 hours to get the dice????

You already called me a george. I love making bets for the guys running the tables.when i get the dice hot I bet the hard 6and8 or make a yo bet I include them too.
The most knowledgeable dealers would actually like to have a passline bet with odds for them

whats the minimum ammount can you place for the dealers say on the 6 and 8. and when the numbers win how can you keep the place bet for the dealers in play so the dealers dont take the bet down.
Some casinos will allow you to put a min of $1 on the 6/8. the thing is that the casinos only will allow the dealers to pay $1 on the win because the casinos don't have anything smaller. The way to keep the bets up after a win is to say $1 on the six for the dealers ---"I AM IN CONTROL" ----that means that you control the bet, not the dealers so they will keep the bet up

Golden Touch Craps Do you place the $1 or put it on the pass line for the dealer? If it’s a $10 minimum table, can you still bet $1 for the dealer? Will the dealer think you are cheap if you bet $1 and you are playing with $10 or more out there?
No odds for that bet I'm guessing?
You can put odds on for them if you want, not required but why not.
I agree Dom. Plenty of moron or unfriendly craps crews out there! However not much we can do about it other than playing a different table!
