- I forgot to mention in the video that the wind speed on the beach was so fast when I tried to use the brake on the reel it melted the plastic and seized the wheel up. I had to pull the brake back out hard to release it. The wind was blowing us over so I do not fault the quality of the kite for the wheel melting a bit. It was being used in very extreme conditions for a $12 kite.

I got the firebird from Costco and it worked amazingly.
It was the first kite I ever bought and super fun and easy to fly long as you have the proper wind lol.

Flew the 🦋 with my 3yr old...it loves to fly...I think you do need sufficient wind. Just holding it and the wings were flapping in my hand. It has two loop depending if light or heavy wind. My daughter even held it and flew it
I bought four different kites but found that the Jet was the easiest to keep in the air.! The dragon was the second best. The other kites just wouldn’t stay up. A few days later I went to return them and get more of the jet kites but they were sold out. There were plenty of the other kites. Maybe people had the same experience as me and only buy the jet.
I do the that they are durable kites just not equal in the they fly
I have one of these kites and it's great, but I feel like the tails are annoying. Has anyone removed them?

Hey, does costco actually have kites? I am kind of confused, because I cannot find any on their website. Is it only sometimes that they sell kites? By the way, did you fly the kite yet? I'd love to hear about your opinions on it.

That's nice. I just wish I had more kites, I only have cheap walmart ones. Also, happy one-month-late birthday, I have to admit you are very old.
Just not all days and places are good for flying. Like the kite.
Haha every time I bring it to fly it seems to be as windy as in the video. On labor day I flew it on Lake Michigan and it was even more windy. Kite still survived. I'm really amazed it didn't fall to pieces yet.
