This movie changed the movie landscape with its unique style: the techno soundtrack, camerawork and editing style. It influences classics like the Matrix
Let me be very HONEST. MFUQQQQQQQQQQ *THE BORING MATRIX* Dance music was DEAD, absolutely dead until this soundtrack gave LIFE to "Dance Music and Underground Factions of music". When this came out, you had the character Blade in the "SpiderMan Animated Series". He yellllllllllled "YOU will NEVER win Mother" !!! After I saw that episode I went to the show to see the movie. It's like, if "FOX" didn't do the XMen or put tons of blood, sweat and tears into the SpiderMan cartoon - this movie would've never ever been made. Thank You FOX. Also Wesley Snipes was a villain or villain like character for most his movies, before this. He needed an excuse to show the world.....outside of being mean or evil, there is a good guy with a blade. Back to the Matrix - it was ok.....but for people who needed something Absolutely Outrageous and Over The Top - was this movie. Non-stop action/Non-stop music. Now "Matrix Reloaded" was kind of like Blade and Blade 2. Deacon Frost - Stephen Dorf = NOBODY within the Matrix comes remotely close, as a "bad axx character" like him. I don't care about the camerawork or Shannon Lee's tiny cameo. My 2 cents
@@TheDukeOfCastleWolf Oh man..... i really hope they don't make a Blade movie then. What the fuck is wrong with the person of Blade since they want to make him woman and lesb? Got nothing against woman or lesbian, but that is just out of the whole picture of the Blade Universe.....fuck Marvel if they do that .
I just don't want Blade to be another MCU movie with unfunny jokes and predictable plot. It needs an "R" rating. First two movies of the Snipes' Blade Trilogy were superb.
Southside Reverb along with Chad Littlepage and Todd Terry were solid anchors in our Dallas scene. It didnt hurt that we had the best phukkin club in Texas that drew heavy acts. Never forget KDGE 94.5, Jeff-K's EDGE Club along with DJ Merrit, they grew and kept our scene active for many years. Jeff-K archived almost every Saturday night broadcast of EDGE Club. So, if you want to hear the good shit of yesterday just look around the internet he has them all in nice format..
You’re right about that! 26 years ago we all rushed HMV after watching Blade in the cinema to buy the CD, put it on in the car home to massive disappointment. Still scars me 😂
Thanks for putting this up. I have this tune on an old recording, probably from Digitally Imported Radio, and nothing I tried (Shazam, SoundHound, etc.) would ID it. Found this by searching for "go get on it" here on UA-cam. I can't seem to find the bonus edition of the Blade soundtrack. Any idea where to find it?
Hi Dan! There's no official "Bonus edition" of Blade soundtrack so you can't find it. It's just a collection of the songs from IMDb - www.imdb.com/title/tt0120611/soundtrack ... I just named it like that
Kizu no Otoko whats the name of the track where frost is researching the vampire archives. Then officer kriger arrives at his skyscraper before he gets ready to bite him?
Kizu no Otoko nope it transitions from dig this vibe into another D&B track. The part where officer Kriger comes to tell frost blade has found out about the bloodbank. Frost is with his girlfriend and then decides to finish off kriger and they both share the officers blood. It's the background music that starts at minute 1:05 and lasts till the end when Kriger is pushed into the infinity pool in this youtube clip ua-cam.com/video/I20jwmkmI7M/v-deo.html. During this whole scene I can't seem to find or get the name of the background song.
Then it's the song "Ether" by Retina...It seems that movie version is slightly different than album version (which I uploaded).. Here's the movie version -> ua-cam.com/video/6zX4eu3reVg/v-deo.html... Is the search over XD
FINALLY!!! I've been looking for this song for 17 years!
Me too
Why this isn't on the soundtrack?
Geez man I'm sorry...
I know that feeling my brother

The Matrix came out a year later so it was probably already made and Blade was likely not an influence but rather the same era
@@EightsEverywhere Wachovski said he was, so.
@WhatevaTweva The Matrix came out about 6 months after Blade so they had most likely filmed around the same time.
Let’s not forget Equilibrium
"Did I catch you at bad time comrade" 1:34
Swings the sword then cuts to the credits
This is awesome 💯💯💯
Perfect ending
I'm rewatching Blade Trilogy every Christmas, this track even after 20 years gives me chills.
Now Marvel wants to fuck it up with some SWJ shit. The new Blade will be a woman and lesbian.

What is the intro to this song? Is that a sample from a movie?
I think it's just part of the track. The actual song starting at 1:34 was used in the end credits.
