I am learning about this on recommendation from an interview today.
Your title had me concerned, but you really drove home the point of Agile is the focus, and that's what makes it efficient. If you are splitting it up you aren't using Agile!
I do worry about older technical debt, I hope that gets a better implementation.

The biggest thing here is that my company has “product managers”, “project managers, developers, senior management, two operations teams etc. developers release updates every week. A product manager picks priority as well as developers. Usually a sprint is released to the client every week but that feedback that you’re saying “release a sprint every month” is released every week and then work on something else or the next sprint. But then that feedback comes from the customer in a few days and now those developers are now working on something else they need to jump back to the original sprint as now there is feedback from the customer that something is wrong or needs to be tweaked. Keep in mind there are about 20 different projects going finishing at different times but some have same deadlines. Not really sure how to implement scrum or if it’s even possible in this environment
Things that need to be tweaked should be considered as change request (new user stories), you plan them in the following sprint if top priority. Bugs should be fixed during the sprint (if top priority), just take that into consideration when doing capacity planning in the sprint planning.
