It does feel like as the games went on, they felt more tied to their respective movie adaptation than being an adaptation of their own. Though they do keep some things from the books that the movies didn't, like Harry getting banned from playing the last Quidditch match in HBP, for example. i've wondered what the later games would've been like, were they made like, say, HP2 for PC. The graphics and gameplay, etc. That mix of recognizable locations, & puzzles / floating platforms that wouldn't normally be there irl (although it's Hogwarts, so it could have those in places maybe). After game 3 they basically did away with spell challenges. Goblet had that, but it just didn't hit the same. Would have loved to see HP3 with a similar atmosphere and look to HP2, but with more advanced spell-casting like in game 5. Also one of the things Chamber does really well is give you side quests that go on long enough to let you just take it in for a while, with music that sets the tone perfectly. (You can probably guess Chamber is my favorite one). All of the games have a great soundtrack, too, that's something i'm really grateful for.
@@bipidri Not without giving the franchise enough time to breathe & let go. _Then_ revisit the games, and see what they did great vs where they fell short. But it *needs* a break first. With the way big corporations churn out remakes & put Quantity above Quality, I dread how lifeless the next line of this classic story could turn out to be. Better to have nothing, than to have a walking corpse of something beloved.
I spend so many hours in this game on the Wii version. I never did really finish the story of the game as really was more exploring. Kinda sucks the next releases never held up as good as this one.
4:23:59 I vaguely remember playing this game and have always wondered if it's even possible to win against Malfoy and several Slytherin's with just Harry. I get that he is supposed to get caught, but it's a thought I had.
Those claims get stronger for new videos. This video was uploaded in 2024; if you watch an older video, it has more soundtrack without copyright claims. Even some of Jeremy Soule's compositions are now under copyright.
In shop, back in 2008 i think... Today you can't buy this. Your only options either internet or used copy. Plenty of ports. The first three games are totally unique compared to console versions.
Frankly, HBP feels lesser like a game. Most of the gameplay focuses on brewing potions and flying on a broomstick. The secrets mainly involve finding shields. And it is hard to show where you could find all that shields on video
I remember this game looking much better when i was younger😭😭
Well, that's probably because it didn't look that bad for the year it came out in. It's nothing spectacular but back then it was pretty nice.
@@Fleepwn yhhh
Older games are better than most new ones, these days

if these games weren't rushed they could've been SO GOOD
6:10 that's quite an aggressive incantation for levitating a shirt 😅
I love these Harry Potter video games. haven't played them in awhile.
I wish I could play this on PS4
Un can't
@@RAWZUDIAO That‘s why he said „he wish“😂🤷🏻
They need to add these on ps plus
Yes. Along with the first three Harry Potter games.
They need to put the hp series out on ps4 or likely ps5 since ps4 is pretty much phased out.
I wish they would've continued to make the games closer to the books like the first two.
Maybe WB will do another games

Yes, you can. I remember that I beat them, but it wouldn't change the outcome of this battle.
This is nostalgic to me. I played it immediately on the PSP when it was first released in June 2007. This game is awesome.
last time i checked it wasn't required to play other sounds or mute any because of copy write. no one that i have watched has had to

Wow,what a fascinating game,I wish I could have an opportunity to play them when I was younger, but good to at least see your gameplay.
I love how Bipidri looks at the order of the Phoenix
Harry potter is one of my top past movies too watch.i love all 8 chapters❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😮😮😮😮
I must change my features? I will try
The character models definitely show their age but the environment is still beautiful
How do you get this running at 60fps?
The game must work at 500 fps. To get this done you must Turn Off V-Sync for this game in your videocard software

It is the PC version. But you can emulate the PS3 version at a most impressive level now day's
