The Theodore Mullins monologue was improvised and you could tell from the genuine bewilderment from the rest of the cast! It also showed Lamorne's acting range.
watching how they slowly developed winston character from the normal ‘straight man’ (like in comedy) to a lovable weirdo who can be very strange but is very sweet and loyal and has a hilarious sense of humor and ridiculous quirks was one of the best parts of new girl.
He did grow on me, but it took a long time. Coach was much better and would have been funnier if he got to stay on the show from the start. Winston for a while was the weakest part of this show.
At first I definitely wasn’t vibin with Winston but now I love him. Throughout the show you learn that he’s very loyal, has a solid non-humorous job but still has a child heart.
i love how in a few of these scenes you can see max greenfield laughing genuinely... lamorne is phenomenal and deserved way more screentime. i mourn the lost scenes that could have been if they made him this loveable weirdo right from season 1, but im glad they at least eventually fleshed his character out
Winston: "That is a beautiful girl right there." Best Wingmen: "Just say something to her." Winston: "Shawty, wat dat thang do?" BW: "No." *Disappointment*
i know it was nick who introduced winston and schmidt, and it keeps getting reiterated throughout the show that nick is the bridge between them, but i find there is way more chemistry between winston and schmidt than between winston and nick.
I am on the seventh season, watching the show for the first time. Winston was pretty unappealing in the beginning, the character didn’t capture my attention like the other two guys and even coach (who had very few episodes). But I’m glad the writers made the character stick to his little quirks and out of the box thinking. Winston really grew on me with time. It was great fun watching him grow, foster relationships and friendships and a unique dynamic with every other character, all while staying true to his inherent weirdness. He never compromised on being himself and I found that inspiring.
I started watching the series, my favourite Winston episode is when he's trying to get his cat laid. That's when I came to terms that his character is taking a sharp turn.
Was anyone else confused in the episode ferguson "had" another owner. Winston could have just said, "Lady, I'm a cop. What you're trying to do is steal my cat. Would you like to be arrested?"
"As I live and breathe.... raisin. Wait did I just say raisin." Is a great Winston moment. And I love but maybe it's just because I am absolutely guilty of doing this today but my favorite moment is when Schmidt belts out the song at the wrong time because everyone's been there with that song and other songs ironically.
I litterally watch this show eerrrrday, and this compilation still took me out. I said each scene word for word and still and belly laughing the best show ever
I know this will be an unpopular take, I wish they just kept coach instead of Winnie the bish. Damon Waynes son was hilarious in this show and Happy Ending . Winston just felt out of place , the weird cat thing. I don't think they found a place for him till he became a cop with his partner .
winston in the later seasons became the best character on the show
Once he found Ferguson and began wearing bird shirts it was sealed.
@@hello7032 I'm rewatching, and his first episode is him being the top dog and it's like "no you're not! You cat lovable bird shirt wearer Winston!".
He always has been. We all just didn’t realize it in the beginning.
he was always my fave ever since he got introduced
My friend's fav.
schmidt: "Winston if you think those shoes are brown, what color do you think you are?"
winston: *thinking*
As brown as money!
Lol
He broke Winston’s brain with that one.
I really want to know what color he thinks he is
Guess he thinks he's Green
Or that brown is green which makes all black people to him green
What a fun 😂way to think 🤔 😄 😂😂
The Theodore Mullins monologue was improvised and you could tell from the genuine bewilderment from the rest of the cast! It also showed Lamorne's acting range.
And you can tell with Jake’s applause, he’s like that was magnificent
Most important fact I've learned today
Nobody wants to give writers credit lol
Theodore K Mullins was incredible. That bit made me fall in love with the show.
@@georgewilliamsiii4677It having been _IMPROVIZED_ I don’t think writers had anything to do with it lol

"shawty what dat thing do" always makes me burst out laughing, it's one of the funniest scenes in the series
Winston and Schmidt are such an underrated duo
You mean Winston and Winston.
My friend introduced me to New Girl. Her favorite character was Winston . Mine was Schmidt.
NOTHING will beat the Theodore Mullins scene
It was improvised!😄
the eddie murphy scene is close to it though
LOOSE THESE CHAINS on this woman! 😂
@@katiehunt2978 you told Harper to beat ME?!
I AM FRANK SKAPOPOLIS beat it for me 😁
winston and cece were *THAT* duo, i miss them
Winston being color blind and trying to do puzzles is my favorite running gag in a tv series ever
along with the theodaore k muillins scene the " aye shorty what that thing do" scene is my favorite
"I've got hug number two locked and loaded. Soft or hard, your choice." one of my favorite lines in the entire show
Nothing kills me more that 'shawty what that thing do" 😂just how randomly he shouts it out and how disappointed everyone instantly is😂😂
It’s my favorite line from him 😂😂
Sympathy PMS, when he sings 'Sad Song' and "we-inston and fur-gus-sin" will forever be hilarious.
"I DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT FRUIT!"
"aye yo cees what up fam it's yo girl winston aka Winnie the bitch akaakaka Brown lightning" fucking killed me
It’s “Winnie the bish” as in bishop, his last name
Cece and Winston are the best friendship can't change my mind
Winston and Ferguson?
Winston and Ferguson?
Nah Nick and Tran all day
classic cece and winston mess around
"You want to split that pasta from last night, Winston and Ferguson about to split some pasta" my fav Winston part
What time is that at?
@@am-zj4mq It is not on this video but its season 3 episode 3 the first 1-2 minutes of the episode
The concern in Shelbys voice when she says “Winston what happening?”

I appreciate that this show was apparently not completely scripted and the cast just ran with it
Winston: "That is a beautiful girl right there."
Best Wingmen: "Just say something to her."
Winston: "Shawty, wat dat thang do?"
BW: "No." *Disappointment*
This is one of my best scenes from the show
Handcuffs handcuffs handcuffs handcuuuuuffs 🎶🤣
"His a gentle lover!His a gentle lover!"😆😆😆
Him blowing in CeCe's eyes trying to make her blink 🤣🤣
I really wanna know if Winston stubbing his toe on the chair going around with Schmidt was scripted or not.
I don't think so tbh. Schmidt even asks "what did you doo??" and they didn't do anything else of it. And if it is scripted, it is very believable!
They said it was improv
I would bet anything that it wasn't scripted
Look at that girl
Go say something to her man
Nah/ go on just say somethi-
SHAWTY WHAT THAT THANG DO!? 🤣
Down on the ground fugitive of the law😂😂😂
DawUn oWn tHE gROUnd fUUgeetiV oF tHE lAOww🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
4:59 I love Schmidt’s genuine concern
Getchu a man that loves you the way Winston loves puzzles
Winston and Nick were the funniest on the show
“Look at me being so naughty. So naughty! :O”
i know it was nick who introduced winston and schmidt, and it keeps getting reiterated throughout the show that nick is the bridge between them, but i find there is way more chemistry between winston and schmidt than between winston and nick.
Winston is my favorite character…he is so underrated!!!
The colorblindness explains how bad he is at puzzels lmao
His Seinfeld. 😂
Theodore mullins scene along the crack episode is my favourite Winston moment
she had raccoon hands and was digging thru the trash
Its very cute how he kept Furguson after his break up and loved him till his death
I think he technically stole him.
But she didn't chase custody lol
"He's a gentle lover. He's a gentle LOVER"!

Was anyone else confused in the episode ferguson "had" another owner. Winston could have just said, "Lady, I'm a cop. What you're trying to do is steal my cat. Would you like to be arrested?"
Probably never even crossed his mind. Went straight to evidence and then the classic air bud scene lol
Isn't that an abuse of power?
I mean…he also stole Ferguson from Daisy so he may not want to push it. Lol.
I loved when Winston went wedding dress shopping with CeCe.
Winston stole nearly every scene he was in. Funny af as a fake lawyer that one time.
0:54 that second "you have the right to remain silent" sent me to the netherworld😭🤣🤣🤣
"shorty what that thang do" 🤣🤣🤣
Winston made this show
Best character on the show
Feel like if I knew a real life Winston, life would be so much better
“Dear Lord, help me father” never fails to make me laugh.
He's brilliant. Winston's brilliant. 😄
Winstons glow up was elite
I litterally watch this show eerrrrday, and this compilation still took me out. I said each scene word for word and still and belly laughing the best show ever
Winston's wail/ cry 😂😂😂😂
Winston got so weird from the 3rd season and beyond. That's not a bad thing, though.
They crap on him so much but he’s the glue that holds their group together.
We needed more of Theodore K. Mullins 😂😂
“You tired of being turned on?” 🤣
when he's measuring his smile WHAT A CUTIW
sHAwTy WhAt THaT THaNG dO?
Winston and Schmidt scenes are the best
"when the lights are off we are all the same" - Winston
I love him he’s the best and funniest 😂❤️❤️
HES A GENTLE LUVERRRR
Lmfaooo I named my dog after Winston
Me too
I aspire to be the level of cat parent that Winnie the Bish is on ❤
Just realised that because he is colour blind, that’s why he could never do a puzzle 💀💀💀💀💀
Gosh I love Winston so much
why is winston wearing his hoodie on his legs and that was funny when he hit his foot on the leg of the chair
It’s ages 6 & up. You’re up, Winston, you’re WAY up.
winston was so scary in season one
My fave character 💖 💓
5:15 it legit looks like hes trying not to laugh lool
Puzzling!!
"That was so bad it wasn't even offensive "
💀💀💀
Ferguson you nasty 😂
Funniest character in comedy TV .
lmao this type of comedy is similar to mine.
Winston até as caras e bocas dele me faz morrer de rir 😂
I say "she a dumped out sewing kit" about twice a day
Winston crying is the funniest shit ever
Still looking kind and cool , tight Winston !!! :)
Glad coach left the show
LOVE LOVE LOVE 😀🤣❤🕊🌍🙏
Idk how the cast kept a straight face. Especially when Winston said he was on his period. I would have lost it.
1:18
1:36
1:57
That was so bad it wasn't even offensive
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Realizing that the reason Winston is so bad at puzzles is because he’s colorblind
WINSTON WHAT'S HAPPENING
Why cece why?
Women just cant match up to Theodore K Mullins
I have not and will never say the n word but if I could I would say that quote
I know this will be an unpopular take, I wish they just kept coach instead of Winnie the bish. Damon Waynes son was hilarious in this show and Happy Ending . Winston just felt out of place , the weird cat thing. I don't think they found a place for him till he became a cop with his partner .
How could anybody expect him to be good at puzzles when he was colorblind?
The best scene was when he was stuttering at the table
