What I get from watching your channel? The diversity of the hobby that is, collecting, kit bashing and different platforms of figures. Sir, your channel is diverse do to the many different figures, dolls( yes I said DOLLS) that are part of the hobby of figure collecting! I really enjoy seeing and learning about different faucets of the hobby and I get a lot of this from you and your channel. Your collection encompasses so many different lines and from companies I did not know were out there. In my opinion its a good thing to step away from what you are so focused on and see what else is out there! You Sir give me that opportunity, there is more than 1/6 scale out there and there is more to 1/6 scale than Joe and Action Man. I say thank you Filmaholic for showing me more! It was the other members of the AOA, with the photo stories and how to videos that got me back to revisiting my stored collection. It was your channel that taught me what's new and out of the box, you might say . That is what I get from watching your channel. 1) What I look for from your channel I like your videos because it is like sitting down with a buddy who is talking about his figures: where they came from, how they were put together, and what makes them interesting to you. 2) What I want to see Keep talking and showing off the stuff you find interesting. You collect and display things that are different from what I do, but there is enough interesting stuff and process information for me to usually learn something new and different. 3) Why do I collect I am not much of a collector. I like to make things, and I like GI Joe, so I started by learning how to customize - my projects were about learning a technique or sharpening a skill. Now I am making the characters for the stories I tell myself.

I came for your review on the Worldbox female bodies but I stayed for your calm voice and to see your projects. The original characters you come up with. I love how diverse your collection is. Both action figures and dolls. As a collector of both dolls and actionfigures it makes me feel less alone ❤
Thank you and I share the same sentiment. When I first made my channel I didn't think there were many out there that shared an interest or were at least open minded to the things I like. If it's any consolation you're never alone so long as you engage with the world at large 😊🙏
Great video my friend. Cogent points throughout. 1. I like the stuff you post - reminds me of the good old OSW days. It is engrossing to watch DIY and WIP projects as they develop. So, keep bringing us your vids/projects - they are appreciated. 2. For me the hobby is a creative outlet that has led to some possibilities that I previously didn't have access to. The collaborative aspect of the hobby and the esprit de corps of all of us enthusiasts are very satisfying. 3. I would love to see the hobby grow to the point that the manufacturer runs are larger and can lead to the sweet spot where the increased exposure and demand can begin to drive down prices.

I wholeheartedly agree that it's a great platform for various creative endeavors. It has definitely opened up things I wouldn't think I'd have access to when I started out collecting. It was always necessity. When i got a job and realised i can get what i wanted, my inner child went nuts. So I buy things I couldn't have back then and I buy things that I would have loved if they existed back then.

What can I say? First my family and I are fans because of the many different subjects, mainly J likes the 1/6 video game stuff, Emma likes the female figs and dolls and you can guess mine but I love it all. You have always had a great soothing voice and intellectual way of speaking that draws people in. I say don't change a thing but add what you want, share what you want and do worry too much if "it is good enough" In reality you are all that matters, as long as you enjoy doing and sharing, that is all that matters. I get it though it is a mental and emotional grind in a way but it all comes down to if you are not enjoying it isn't worth doing and I have struggled a great deal with it. I collect because of the nostalgia but lso when I was going through my battle with the booze customizing and writing became therapeutic for me.
