I am a native English speaker. I am enjoying your videos and your language learning tips. I am applying them in order to learn German. But if I may suggest something, you need to slow down. A lot. You are speaking so fast that if someone was watching your videos in order to learn English, they would be lost. It would be a struggle for them to get through the video. I’m American trying to learn Korean and the fear of speaking does get so much worse like I used to have a language transfer app awhile back and I would struggle to talk to people on voice notes and calls but it was still fun but today I was at a coffee shop and two girls in front of me were speaking Korean and I hid my Korean book just in case whey would see it and try to talk to me in Korean. Taking the first step is so hard
Hi! I'm Korean. I too have been trying to learn English for a long time. I am an introvert, so it is difficult for me to converse in English with strangers. Besides, I have nothing to say. I like reading books and watching TV shows more than talking to someone. My problem is that I like to be alone. But I will never give up and keep going.
If you have courage and work hard, you too can do well.

You literally described the way I’ve been living English the last months. I’ve definitely learned way more by doing all that stuff (immersion, exposure, etc) in this few month than what I did during years of English classes in school.

Olá moço, tudo bem? 👋🏻 Vou falar em português mesmo porque não sou tão seguro assim pra falar em inglês (mil desculpas)
Mas enfim, basicamente entendi perfeitamente tudo o que você disse, e muito boas as dicas; confesso que me encontro nesse exato estágio de entender até que bem o inglês, mas não ser capaz de se comunicar ou produzir algo. Aprendo inglês desde o fim de 2021 basicamente só com Duolingo, posteriormente comecei a assistir séries e filmes, além de colocar o meu celular em inglês, no entanto tenho muitas dificuldades em falar; infelizmente devido a algumas circunstâncias, não consigo conversar com ninguém em inglês, porém, tenho aproveitado a greve da minha faculdade, e praticado falar sozinho na rua, banho, ou em alguma caminhada; confesso que tem ajudado bastante, até fico surpreso quando consigo manter um pequeno diálogo comigo mesmo. Enfim, só pra compartilhar mesmo, sucesso pra você, e saiba que já tem +1 inscrito! ☺️👍🏻

I've been studying English for five years, yet I feel like I can't communicate with others. The biggest problem is my English speaking. I can understand everything in English but I can't talk. Working on that! 💪

there are so many but one that I could understand everything even when my English was not that good was the movie Hangover and Breaking Bad
I mean, as an english speaker, there is just so many different films or TV shows it's hard to recommend anything specific haha. There is so much stuff I can never decide, so I end up not watching anything lol
