A Northern Maine winter adventure sampler, including Nordic skiing at Penobscot River Trails in Grindstone and snowmobiling and fat-tire biking at Twin Pines Cabins and the New England Outdoor Center in Millinocket. Capping things off is an epic snowshoeing trek into Baxter State Park and the remote and rustic cabins on Daicey Pond! All of it takes place in the shadow of Mount Katahdin-Maine's tallest mountain.
