Having been married to a teacher (now headteacher) for the last 20+ years, I feel have a slightly heightened appreciation for good teaching that I wouldn't have otherwise had. It is clear you were a great teacher and still are. I have a self-imposed mental block on all things electronics, because I just don't have the confidence in my ability to do it (never had the right teacher!), but you explained this perfectly and I got it right away. I may have to try this out. I like most of my builds without a treble bleed but I have had several that are just shy of what I want and this may get them over that line.

Great question. Ben says he thinks having one in a bass will make it sound a bit more like an active bass. Coincidentally, I have three basses in my workshop that I am working on at the moment, I hope to have them finished this coming week. I plan to test the treblemaker on all three and make a video about it. The aim is basically to see if a treble bleed is worth having on a bass. Each bass has a different combination of pickups on it, so I am hoping it will be a comprehensive experiment. However it's going to take me a few weeks to edit a video together once I have made it. I will try and remember to come back here and l3ave you a comment about my findings once I have tested them this week. Thanks
