I reckon the original units were pretty good. Just fix the sounds, and add simple projectors to produce the shapes over the wrists.

Not a fan of glass as a material, especially since a transparent red plastic is safer, cheaper and works just as well.

that morphin' time joke was a bit funnier than it really should've been, sound effects after the punchline made me have a sudden outburst. this looks really good though, ill definitely have to grab one when i can

Great video as always Bruno! It isn't fail how you work hard on your videos and care a lot about them and it gets dislikes. I can't believe someone's already disliked it. Can't wait until the next video.

The main communicators debuted in "High Five", while Tommy's debuted in "Green with Evil: Part V - Breaking the Spell"
The communicators first appeared in the second episode of Season 1, High Five (but error wise, Billy was wearing his in the first episode). And Tommy's was seen as soon as he joined the team in GWE Part 5
i love, love, LOVE! watching you videos and reviews on all the legacy toys gets me very nostalgic but as i live in the UK its a bummer that not all these items get released over here and have to pay through the nose to get these... keep up the great work you do!!

For anyone wanting the Tommy Oliver Edition Communicator they're back in stock at Toys R Us Online for $79.99. They were out of stock last week, but as of today they've still got them. I just ordered mine this morning.
My mom told them that my communicator didn't work, so they sent me a new one which does make the lights and sounds. I love the legacy communicator.

Teeeeechnically speaking the Communicators were being worn by everyone in "Day of the Dumpster'.
They were on everyone's wrists in the first scene at Ernie's Juice Bar- however no one mentioned them.

i actually just pulled the tab out of the back of the communicator at the convention and it worked i didn't unscrew the back. it might mean a bit of the tab is still in there but it works so theres no worry

I'm quickly running out of room. I do have my starlight version in my glass case on a watch display I got from Sharper Image when they were going out of business. If I can find more space I'd like to have all five or six like that... somewhere.

The only gripe I've with it is the interchangeable color bands. I feel if this is for adult collectors they should of taken a page from starlight studios. I feel the bands is more like if the appeal is for kids which is not in this case.
Five communicators at TRU would be $395. That would really suck for anyone who wanted just one communicator, but wanted to have all five colors. That was a great opportunity for Bandai to really get more money out of us, and they didn't do it. Since the bands don't fall out w/o being pushed, I just can't imagine wanting it the other way. You can still buy as many as you want, but people who want just one can still get all five (or both Tommy colors).

How do you get episodes of Super Sentai seasons? Is there a website I should know about, or should I try to get DVDs on Amazon?
Shout! Factory releases Super Sentai on DVD. It's the only official way to watch the show in the US. Unfortunately, they've only released three seasons so far, with the "ZEO" (Ohranger) coming this fall. Hopefully they'll be able to release seasons faster in the future. As for newer seasons, they are posted online and get taken down pretty often. I know some people download them but I'm afraid to do that.... The site where I used to watch the current season was shut down. :(

There's a little flimsy plastic card that's stuck to the thing I showed in the video. They take it at the store, so I don't have it anymore. :-/ If you're not an R Us member, it's free. Just ask next time you go to the store. (Well, they probably ask you every time you check out...) You get discounts in the mail every so often.

That might be a TRU question. They just come in the mail. Maybe confirm they have the correct address for you? There are both specific R Us letters that have several deals on them that get sent out, and then those promotional booklets as seen in this video that have those plastic cards on the front, which may or may not get sent to every resident as part of general "junk mail." Almost positive we got those before I had the card.

I didn't see anyone else mention this, but you should be able to change the watch size yourself. When I got a starlight studios communicator I looked up a video on UA-cam about watch links and its actually really simple. I found a small enough screwdriver to push the pin through, but anything small enough to give force to the pins will allow you to push them out. Maybe even a safety pin will do it. Hope this helps and saves a trip to a jewelers.

I used a Metal Paper clip and a small hammer and it came out like a charm! Not the small metal paper clips but the larger ones. Just straighten the paper clip and gently hammer the pin out and your done. I performed this on the Starlight Studio one. It should work the same on the Legacy Communicator I hope.

episode 2 high five was when the first 5 got theirs and tommy got his green ranger one in episode 21 and I don't remember white but im guessing white light
