- DURBAN, 14 June 2017 - The mayor of Durban held a send-off breakfast in honour of Babes Wodumo and Nasty C. They are heading to the BET awards hosted in Los Angeles later in June.

I love the way how Nasty c pick up our sister there by making her feel free to speak Zulu. This is our language we mustn't be ashamed to speak. English doesn't make intellectual person it just a LANGUAGE.

As an English as a Second Language Instructor, I'll say that Babes' English isn't bad. I'm unsure of if she's nervous or just doesn't want to speak a European language, but if she speaks her native tongue there should at least be subtitles. People in the US don't understand Zulu or Xhosa.

I'm sure babes wodumo can speak English when she is chilling with her friends and family but the problem is that she is a shy person when it comes to speaking in a broad public space that's why she seems to struggle with her English and that happens to all of us. you get scared when you speak English in front of strangers but when you with friends and family you speak good English with confidence. but other than this English bullshit I like her she seems like a nice person.
