Ermac may have been created here but unlike the sorcerers he actually became a good guy in the original timeline thanks to Kenshi while Shang Tsung and Quan Chi are irredeemable.
Always one of my favorite arenas. I always loved the backrounds of these places, it always made me think of what the Mortal Kombat universe was like. I'd love to explore it in a new game.
This version of the Soul Chamber music actually sounds scarier than the original MK3 version. I definitely think this is a better music track for Shao Kahn's Cave than any music track used in the various versions/ports of Ultimate MK3. This music plays while 2 opponents fight & Shao Kahn sits on his throne in that dark background watching the fight.
Forgive me, I know your comments really old. But this isn't a remix, they just put the original MK3 arcade version of the song in whatever music editing software existed back then before *Audacity* came out and just slowed it down and lowered the pitch. The MK9 one is the remix. Anyone who has Audacity could literally do it themselves in like 7 seconds.
@@Schmamplicate while you can achieve these results with that method, that's not what happened at all... The slower soundtrack was a mistake. They didn't convert the 48 kHz audio from the arcade to 44.1 kHz CD audio correctly.
@@Harmonic14 Oooh. Well it was never an issue to me. I thought that the lowered pitch made a few of the tracks sound better and more fitting. Not all, but a few like the Church and Bank.
This theme reminds me of Halloween with Michael coming after someone with his knife and his evil-driven personality in the darkness and that person is running and screaming with no way to get away from him and he's getting closer and closer and there he is
It's slowed down because Midway/Williams or Avalanche made a mistake during development by forgetting to resample the MK3 soundtrack after converting it Redbook audio. If Midway/Williams got it right with MK3 on PS1 and UMK3 on Saturn, how did they mess this up?
This theme encompasses what Mortal Kombat is all about. It's mean, vicious and raw.
Ermac Shang Tsung and Quan Chi Loves this
I agree with that!

@@RazuX5 man I miss Ermac being a good guy.
"I never give up!"
and now ermac is seeking his purpose

The creators snapped when they made this theme💪💯
Has anyone noticed that the whole arena resembles a skull?
oh shit it does
So damn sick!! I never noticed that until now. And I've been and MK fan since 95. And I will die an MK fan.
Yeah just now I did
I think it resembles much more Motaro.
I am 33 years old just realizing this. Cool

This track fits pretty good for Goro's Lair as well.

Ermac: *YOU HAVE DISTURBED OUR REGENERATION PROCESS!!*
Jax: Ermac! *Gotcha!*
Too bad his costume was horrible, it looked more like a mummy instead of an actual ninja.
@@Nahuelx in MKX yeah his skins were horrible apart from his Klassic UMK3 skin.
@@RazuX5 agree man agree.
It hurt to watch when jax's arms got ripped off like that.
DONT GET YA HEAD BUST NGA
I like this remix for the Soul Chumber it was one of my favourite tracks on Mortal Kombat Trilogy, thanks for the upload

I didn’t know about music editing back then, I stand corrected, thanks for the comment. 👍🏾

What if this soundtrack and Michael Myers's Halloween theme song combined together along with the soul chamber skulls. That would be something
strange but I had UMK3 on SEGA Mega Drive X and at this level was played delayed version like in the video ... very strange ...
