How to Design a Wedding Album

- Today I'm sharing how I go about designing wedding albums using fundy design software. This is the process I use to design albums for wedding and portrait clients.
1- Pick images: A few from each part of the day so that you can begin at the start of the day and tell a story
2- Import those images into your design software
3- Lay them out on the page (making sure everything will fit within your set about of spreads)
TIP: Less is more. White space is your friend and will make your designs look better.
TIP: Alternate your designs so that not every page is the same
TIP: Avoid having people's faces in the fold of the album

Joy Michelle Photography just bought Fundy a month ago. A few more weddings this year to use on.
Oh man have you tried it yet? Their album proofing is bomb too!! It makes designing fast!

@@Joymichelle I'm really just interested in the entire process. I really want to offer this service personally. I've done a couple of photo albums but used a third party vendor. If I can cut costs for them, (and myself) I'd love to! Can't wait for the follow up! 😁

Where can you go to print it if you don’t have a printer?
I like a couple of different pro labs including KISS books, Miller's, and WHCC

Editing software was Lightroom
I love it, but the only thing that bothers me is that there is no space between the next picture
Which one? You can make as much or as little space as you like :) that’s the beauty of the software
Hi Joy, thanks for this video. I have a coupla questions, kindly excuse me if it sounds absurd. After adding images to the Fundy's spread or page, does the resolution of an image go down? Is there any reduction in file size? - Thanks.
No there isn’t a reduction in image resolution. Keep in mind though that depending on the size of the spread that you choose you will need a large image size to accommodate it
