Indonesian here! Tempe is basically like fermented soybeans shaped into cubes, strips etc. Its PHENOMENAL to fry them and have some chilli garlic oil dip or fry them off with soy sauce and green chilli or just dip it in a sauce/blended chilli called sambal.

I have VERY bad news for you, plants don't want to be eaten either, that is why they contain phytotoxins to poison animals that eat them. Humans were designed by nature to thrive when eating meat. There have NEVER been a human society on this planet that only ate vegetables. If humans only ate vegetables and fruits they would look like an orangutan.
I think Érica also made her friends day by trying the meals and giving honest opinions (+ liking them which is always nice when showing others your cooking) it’s cool to explore different diets !

True vegans don't wear clothing from animals, their veganism applies to everything so they won't even wear leather or real fur coats, etc. Plant based vegans just avoid consuming animals and animal by-products but may still opt to wear clothing produced from animals
