Can I just say that I absolutely love the 29 pedal enclosure. It looks both makeshift and high end at the same time somehow. And it's instantly recognizable, which becomes a rarity these days.
I went with the Flwr over a klon copy for my latest pedal purchase. This little guy is pretty special and is giving me, someone who really has an aversion to distortion so many options a drive types beyond your traditional clean overdriven tone. I’ve only just begun exploring it and will use the video as a guide, thank you!
Good choice! Ive got several Klon clones and the 29 just blows them away. Im not too good with describing audio, but It adds a real nice musical/harmonic quality in some settings that is noticeably lacking with the others. The 1981 DRV was my go-to OD until I got this.
I find that it has a weird clipping sound esp when clean. I don’t notice it as much when doing that bright option but am I doing something wrong otherwise? Running it through a ruby
Just got my flwr today despite deliberation on whether 270 was worth it. The clowns on reddit diss all over this pedal to make themselves feel better, but to me the character and choiceness of this pedal is beautiful. I love it. It’s just right, and its not an imitation and to me; that is priceless.
Hey Mark, fantastic demo again. I saw a video about flamma pedals and how they can be a budget way to great ambience. How about the new x2 series from Mooer? I especially would LOVE to see what you can do with the many pretty experimental algorithms in the D2 X2 and R2 X2. I bet you can create a lot of really deep ambient music with just those two pedals.

Love the design of the circuit but would they use those tiny knobs, looks like a pain to adjust.

I think this is a "fuzzy" pedal, and not a Fuzz pedal, so impedance probably doesn't really matter much?
I saw somewhere (Demos in the Dark, maybe?) that it's medium impedance input to play reasonably well with both the EUNA and with direct guitar signal.
