    The Red Squirrel should be the national animal of England. Currently, the Lion holds this title, which seems outdated. The humble Red Squirrel, despite its struggles and decline, symbolises resilience to outside threats to its natural environment. It reminds us of the progressive aggressive attacks to its habitat, which is obviously fueling a slow but determined successful comeback.. #RedSquirrelForUK

    Wow, this video showcases some incredible slingshot skills in action! The accuracy and precision needed for hunting with a slingshot is truly impressive. It's not just about the thrill of the hunt but also the respect for nature and the environment. Kudos to the hunter for demonstrating great marksmanship while enjoying the outdoors. This video is a perfect blend of adventure and appreciation. Sir can you pin my comment?

      He uses .85 25/20 taper shooting 11mm steel, 11mm lead or as showcased in this video 11.9mm steel, in the colder seasons he said he bumps up the bands to 1mm 25/17 taper with I imagine same ammo most likely 11.9 steel and 11mm lead, so far I’ve tried both and found that his .85 11mm steel set up is one of the best all round sets ups for targets and hunting this set up shoots 11mm steel at 240fps so a really nice balanced set up probably as good as it can get for hunting with a catty.

      For hunting Wayne is using his EVO Field Pro catapult, with a 25/20 taper, of Catty Shack ‘Great White’ band, in 0.85 thickness, with 11mm lead. He uses the same for the target course with 11mm steel instead.

    @donster you’re in titled to your opinion as are the antis but personally can’t agree as every thing I own whether catapult rifle trap or dog does the job first time no injured animals at all and for those out there most of these quarry’s are pest which I get paid by non hunting folk to get rid of because they are causing problems to there crops or livestock evidently causing thousands of pounds in lost revenue because these animals don’t get culled anymore and has massively over populated to the point it’s causing other animals to get wiped out look at the grey and red squirrel for example,foxes used to hunt now there dying through humans feeding them crap they shouldn’t be eating aswell as out of bins and hedgehogs being fed milk and cat food which can kill them by supposed animal lovers.

  • @خالدبنالوليد-ك8ع

  • @donster222
    @donster222 Рік тому +20

    Again, probably an unpopular opinion but it's this sort of stuff that gives "the antis" more ammunition of their own. The video demonstrates, very well, just how inaccurate catapults are even in the hands of a professional. More misses than hits equals injured animals. They're fine for plinking but I don't think a field sports channel should be promoting them for live quarry. Just me?

    • @samacw
      @samacw Рік тому +4

      How do the misses injure any animals? The shot are relatively massive compared to the squirrels, it's unlikely that much of a glancing hit is possible - either a clean miss or a hit.

    • @lobomalsano
      @lobomalsano Рік тому +5

      That injured animal most likely will die in minutes if it can even escape the hunters. In any case they are not hunting endangered species. All animals including us came to this world to suffer most of the time

      But I guess with birds it may be different because if you aim for a pheasant or pigeons head you either hit the head or miss the bird

    This is so horrid and cruel. It shows how human kind have not evolved any further as human beings. Sadly due to the lack of compassion and respect for living in unisum with mother earth and the beautiful natural habitats that give other species a place of their own to live without fear and hunting. And they think its seriously funny😢 to kill things that they believe have no worth to live. How disgusting can you get?. If only they could be transported into the body of the creature they wanted to mame, hunt, kill!!! I truly believe it would change their perspective.

      I completely agree and equally completely disagree. Love and compassion is paramount but we also have lost our ways and independence, making us subservient to the system which in turn creates more unnecessary pain amd suffering. If we the people can balance the scale with love in our heart to hunt and survive than that would make us more free as we once were. I was vegetarian for years and then vegan for a long time also, and now I want to hunt for myself from Earth to Animal to Me Back to Earth. Like the indigenous natives the many lands once did. Much love to anyone reading this, and remember love life and resist government control ❤
