    HYDRO-FORCE!
Its fine choice for a starter board. 10 minute workout pumping it up ( or pumping you up?). I have a far harder workout balancing my big belly on the board than I do pumping it to pressure. I hope a wider board makes a difference. I bought the "Fastblast" board which is tougher to balance, now buying my 2nd board, the "Freesoul".
Its fun on the water! Unless its windy, rainy, lightening, speed boats throwing wake, ...
How did the Yeti work out as a seat? Did the tail sink with the weight so far back?
MAY THE HYDRO-FORCE BE WITH YOU!

The yeti actually works really well. A little trial and error. As you’d assume … so far back and the stern wants to sink causing it to be extremely difficult to steer, or even balance for that matter. I ended up ordering some paddle board straps and was able to move the mounting location to a more central of the board area. I’ve used it as a seat to fish from, and storage compartment for fishing supplies several trips now.

I'm probably being picky and don't own a SUP, but I feel like it would bother me. Is the carrying handle not centered? Does that make it trickier to center your footing? Does it chafe your leg when in kayak mode?

The carry handle is pretty well centered both front to back, and side to side. Aesthetically it may be off a bit, but the placement works well for carrying as far as balance, and where it falls along the side of the body when you’re carrying it. I’ve not had an issue as far as where to stand. Actually, the way I have my bucket set up now makes it so that as I sit down on the bucket then stand again the handle is always centered between my feet. Generally I stand feet shoulder width apart so I’ve never had an issue stepping on or getting tripped up by it. It almost acts as “ marker “ of sorts on where I should be standing for both balance, and speed. To far forward on the board and the nose dives making it harder to paddle, to far back and even with the fins on it will tend to spin circles. The handle is also a nylon material. It compresses and flattens pretty easily.
I can’t honestly answer your question about chafing. I’ve never used it in the kayak mode. I have other hard kayaks for when I want to kayak, and I’m not a fan of the system they have for the kayaking part of the kit. My kids have used the kayak mode briefly on their boards with no chafing, but they too are not a fan of the kayak set up so they opt for using it as a SUP.

I thought my pump was not working I can not get the PSI very difficult

    • @dirtbagadventures1
      @dirtbagadventures1  Рік тому

Once you get above 10 PSI it’s gets hard to pump.
Something you can check. The valve on the board may be open. Simply push down on it and turn. It’ll either close, or it’ll open. Which ever happens will tell you if it’s closed or open. Just be sure it’s closed for inflating. This ensures the air doesn’t escape once you did-connect the pump. Pro tip - when deflating for storage push down and open the valve. It’ll be loud for a bit but it drains the air super fast vs sitting and holding the valve open with you finger or object.

We thought the same thing! The psi didn't seem to work even though the board felt pretty firm. Turns out, it didn't have enough air in it to register on our pump, Even though it felt full to the touch! Just keep pumping, the more resistance you feel, the closer you're getting and the psi will eventually register on the pump

Got one for my girlfriend. First outing and I lost the fin in the water. They don’t float. And I can not find a replacement 🤬

Did you figure out the handle?

Humm … I’m not sure. I’ve made a couple changes. Which handle are you wondering about?

I just unboxed mine. What's the easiest way to deflate it and get it back in the bag? Seems impossible when alone.

@@taragochenour4514 I apologize for such a late response. I never received a notification for your comment. By now I assume you may have figured out how to roll it back up. If not I’ll do my best to explain my experience.
If you push down on the spring valve and twist it will lock open. It deflates much quicker this way. You can leave the valve locked open and it will help with the rolling up part. Just don’t forget when you take it out again to push down and twist opposite to let it close again before re-inflating.
As far as rolling it back up … I consider it more of a fold than a roll. I start at the nose and fold over about a foot. Smash flat then roll the same length again using the crease as a guide. By the time you reach the tail if you’ve choose the correct length of folds the last fold should fall so that the fin wells fold over with the last fold. If your off some on the fold length from the beginning then the last fold can fall half way between the fin wells and since they are hard plastic it won’t fold over. You’ll have to unfold all the way and try again. It took me a few try to get this right.
The bag has a zipper around the top. If you unzip that the bag extends another or so. Once you have the board folded insert the board into the extension first then work the bottom of the bag over on the bottom. If don’t properly the board and all accessories should fit in the bag and zip up.

@@taragochenour4514 there is a deflate option with the pump, you can suck the remaining air out.
