What a character you are mr. Billy. I have always had a bit of an ax obsession. Never really tried felling with an axe! I watched you drop that big madrone and said I got to have a try at this. Now I'm just a little feller so I size down trees a bit hahaha. But I fell in limbed a big ugly old poplar in my yard that needed to go. it was very rewarding and I think I'm going to start using my axes for more than just limbing and splitting! I might even take my short double bit hiking with me into the snow so I can make a big fire!!! Thank you for lifting up one of your fellow humans!

Congrats Chris on your lucky guess and the special BBR Arvika! Treasure that and maybe one day pass it on also. Got inspired by BBR (and SC Steven) also and just finished my Dad's old TT Jersey pattern axe that he split wood with. He got so crippled up in the late years that he would split wood while sitting down! Axe has a lot of spirit I think..yours does too!

Hi Bucking - touch of cabin fever! - try being stuck in the house since 19th December 2019 ... me arms had so much 'plaster' on it I couldn't get a shirt or coat on to go outside for a walk.... Still at least the new metal work doesn't show! Such is modern medicine...replacing bone elbow with metal joint amazing op. Keep the videos coming, not got much else to do until the doc releases me from "don't do anything you're still recovering from the op restrictions....." then I shall be able to get out me cabin!

Those axes are soo cool! That's an axe with a soul tight there. Envy you.
So you're getting all the snow, ehh? I live in Norway, and we usually have snow in January - and LOTS of it. But in the south of Norway, we have nothing as of now. I cannot remember the last time we had January without snow. Two years ago, we had unusually much. I mean, mountains of snow every other day. Even for us, who is used to a lot of snow, it was a challenge. And the spring floods... Don't even get me started. But this year, nothing... It's sad to see how the earth is changing fast - and not for the better...
Well, I'll stop writing now and continue to enjoy your video. HAve a great day!

That undercutter looks like it would suit the flick perfectly - would love to see that!

Hi Buck'in Hope all is well Friend! Been busy working, not a lot of time to keep up with your channel, but I just noted in this video you are using Beavertooth Axe Handles, Glad I was able to get you to check them out. They have been great handles for my personal axe and splitting maul builds. The leather Sheaths are nice Too.
Keep up the good work!! You are an inspiration to So Many!!
