That pressure drop is due to no air reservoir to start with. The Apollo compressor is a bare bone compressor. I you were to use a 3-5 gallon rolair, the tanks would allow for no pressure drop. Also if the pressure pot was closer to the gun, then the hose could not expand and aid in materials pressure drop. Might help
Shane, to avoid pressure drop on the pressure pot, could you just use a bigger compressor rather than the small one attached to the Apollo unit? I have the same unit as you and find it hard to tell when the pressure is dropped when re coating with the same color. Thanks
