Very nice crystals! I recently found some nice dogtooth calcite crystals but the crystals you found are considerably larger. I’m planning on uploading the video later today
There was no crystal dropped but we found it like that. Some big crystals were stuck or got pushed next to the other during development of the pocket and caused some minor damage.
WTF!. WTF! WTF! Exactly Kristian. A phenomenal pocket. Very esthetic matrix specimens. You guys keep finding such gorgeous calcite calcite. Those quarries must be very productive. A video explaining the geology and structural setting of the area one day?
That would be great. What predominates there. Fault breccia or solution collapse breccia predominantly? Or both processes played roughly equal roles? Love your videos.
De 50e like! alstjeblieft !

Echt mooi 😍😍
Dang, just insane, congrats on such a great dig
Thank you! We loved this dig, certainly when this big crystals came out after a day working on this pocket.
I could not even imagine 👍✌️
It’s almost identical to some of what used to come out of elmwood in Tennessee
@@diggingappalachia954 yes they are almost the same! a bit more fat and less clear but still awesome
Insane large calcite crystals for this location! 😍
Did the first big one get dropped, as it appeared damaged in the cleaned up pictures?

Heel mooi!
Thank you!
Werkelijk waar prachtig

Its on limestone
@@Mineralenwereld ok thanks!

That is actually a good idea! When we go back, we can explain some more of the geology in a next video. Good tip!

Many thanks, we appreciate it very much! 😊

Awesome finds!! I can only dream that I might find something like that on my side of the pond! Heel mooi!! 😮
We hope so for you as well! Many people here thought we found these in Elmwood hahaha
@Mineralenwereld yeah it is very reminiscent of the Elmwood specimens.
Geweldig! Zijn jullie dit weekend ook weer op de mineralenbeurs?
Jazeker! Wij zijn met deze stukken op de mineralen beurs Rijswijk
Monsters are still to be found .
Awesome find guys .
Thanks so much!
