I just started watching her after her channel was recommended & she is such a caring & compassionate person. I feel the same way about all my animals too.
Totally understand the sadness of missing the cows. I had to sell our horses and all the horse paraphernalia this past summer. After owning horses for 40 years, it felt like a death. Like I was turning my back on all the joyful memories and rejecting something that had been such a huge part of my life.
@@heather173 Yes it is. I used to have cows and I remember the anxious nights going out and checking the herd in the middle of the night. (It weird, but I miss it.) Sandi has helped me with that weird longing. I have chickens now and they tell you not to help chicks hatch.
@@brinrin7029 That is good. I am sure that Sandi will be pleased that she is helping you with your mental health struggles. I will be praying for you too.
Goes to show, when we humans are overdue, we get induced, and now Sandi does the same to her ewes!! I think it's the best choice for them and the lambs. Can't wait to see them come!! Love the "Lamb Run" and the "Ewes around Sandi", cute little snips of the funny parts of sheep farming.
I'm obsessed with your channel. Even through the occasional tears, those babies just make me so happy and I desperately need some happy these days! Thank you for doing all the hard work and providing me some happy. As a farm girl myself I know there are always tears involved in any animal husbandry, but those lambs running and bouncing just lift my heart right back up!
Congratulations on 100k subs! I bet a lot of your viewers are like me: not a farmer, and just AMAZED by you, your personality, and all the wonders you share with us. Rock on!

Hi again SANDI! And now there's 2!! Happy and relieved for you lambing is just about done! It's a labor intensive thing especially with so many. No wonder you're exhausted and frazzled a bit!! What a great job you've done and your vids have been excellent. Thank you so much for sharing and taking us along with you!
It will be interesting to see what happens with the "questionable" ewe. I don't know how I'm going to handle no babies! I guess I'll watch you start all over!
Sometimes animals fill an emptiness that we didn't know we had. I believe that if the cows brought you that much joy, you should get a couple more. They can be friends like the other two.

It must be nice to finally be able to sleep peacefully without having to worry all night about something going wrong with ewes lambing. Also this group has seemed to go well overall, yes trouble always brews with lambing, but most of these ewes/lambs seem to be doing good for you.
Lawrence Kieffer yup I feel that, had twin ewes from one of my Shetland ewes last year and her udder just didn’t produce milk. We thought we had stopped it from running in the line with her because she had lambed twice before and had no issues raising them. So we ended up having two bottle lambs, it was a long first night with them. Plus the other ewe I had bred, her ram lamb passed away suddenly a day after being born after showing all the signs of being a healthy lamb. I had a rough time last lambing season, usually they go rather smoothly especially with my Shetlands. The ewe that had the twins is retired now, but anyways. I’m excited for my new ewes to lamb in a couple of months though and I’m hoping everything goes well.
@@harmonymarshfarm3912 i miss my animals and that part of having babies. I'm glad I came upon your channel! I lived in ID with my sister and family for a short time and they raise sheep for meat as well. I was luckily there during their lambing season. Altho, a mama got sick and so we had to pull out her 2 lambs. 1 died and the other was a bum lamb which we raised. The mama was put down then. Since the ewe was penned up with in their dog kennel with the dogs, she thought she was a dog and actually was scared of the other sheep. Well, they learned not to do that ever again. They had to help pull some of the lambs out cuz the mamas couldn't push them all out. They've had quite a few sets of quads besides twins every year. They've lost some due to bad hay too. They've been doing this for approx 30 yrs now. Watching your videos helps me to remember some of the good times living there.
