I can't understand democratic court process due to its extreme silliness and clownishness: this killer-charlatan has murdered so many people and the court is treating him with such respect and providing him with clean and shiny dress to appear in a (clownish) court. That's called ethical. Only because a criminal is acting against humanity doesn't mean that all of society has to follow. Otherwise, the whole civilisation as we know would collapse. Even after his inhuman act of killing 77 people he's still a human being and should be treated as such. Calling it "silly" and "clownish" is an insult of the best way of enforcing the law and making fair judgements. It's fair that he can live, but forever in solitary until he decides to quit his own life or live to the end knowing he won't see the daylight. This is a much worse punishment as giving him the present of realising freedom through death.

That's the maximum they can give him at once. It's Norwegian law, but he'll be in prison until death. Every 5 years he can go to court and be incarcerated again or set free (he's probably going to go through that loop and stay jailed until his death). It's basically a life sentence in practice, they just couldn't say more than 21 because it would defy laws

No. Norwegian law can only give 21 years. After those 21 years it will be considered if he’s still a danger to the public, which he still is, so he will be given another 21 years. So basically 21 years each time until he’s dead. He won’t ever get out of prison, and if he does, he will be killed immediately.

And a shooting in a gay bar as well. So when a crazy guy starts shooting in a busy bar street the cops all run away to the station to get guns. While people get shot and have to risk their lives to bring the shooter down themselves. You know that Breivik put down his weapons as soon as he saw an armed cop? Still he managed to kill 77 people that were all running and hiding. It took the cops an hour to get weapons and come to the island. Had they had guns on them they could have saved dozens of lives. All added up we might be at 40-50 deaths in 20 years time due to these unarmed cops. And still they have this discussion on if the cops should carry weapons. Because they might shoot an innocent person by accident 🤯 I have zero trust in our system, our police or our politicians.
