Each product in this toolkit is very well thought of and the devs being fantastic artist themselves , the tool feel extremely intuitive to use even for a person like me who cant even make a blob when it comes to sculpting , i am thoroughly enjoying that dreaded page . For a low level hobbyist like me this is more inspring than daunting. Respect to the devs
I’ve been using quickshape and quick curve for a while now, it’s absolutely amazing. I hope it doesn’t become obsolete with the new grease pencil and geometry nodes for blender 4.3. I nearly have the equivalent of quickshape with a few nodes and the grease pencil tools are great for adjusting the geometry
Best Addons period! I struggled learning blender until I found out this Addons, I must say this is generally na go to if you are a concept artist. Dealing with polygons and texture alone save you tons of time with this. Thank you Alksndr and Jama for providing this! You guys are the best 🎉
I’ve approached the Black Friday with an audit of tools I’ve purchased and made notes. That’s been a valuable decision. For those wanting to learn these quicktools (again) how much has changed since the older tutorial videos? Has it all been additional functions or have there been fundamental changes in how the tools work? Do the change logs explain these questions? I learned to read a long time ago and will dust off my RTFM peekers prior to following along. But I thought it a good general question to throw out there - others should know which ones will help and which will confuse. I wish there was some magical UA-cam spider with a label tape gun, tagging tutorials with software versions and relevancy data.
There haven't been any fundamental changes but there have been many major additions over the years, ideally everyone just watches all the videos and then reads the documentation (its linked in the description) but worst case just watching 1 vid to get the sense and then reading through the docs and release notes will get you up to speed!
These features are really game changer but does it come with baking solutions or does it work with any normal baking methods in Blender (for Retopology, PBR textures, etc?)
We don't have a package but gumroad makes it pretty easy to check out multiple products at once now, and Jama runs holiday sales on his page all the time so they are cheaper than full price right now (code: bfriday)
You can only do a tiny portion of these things in sculpt mode (I assume you are talking about the newish Lasso Trim etc brushes), like we have all kinds of boolean operations not just cutting, such as Separate Intersect and Extruding. Creating new objects is not very convenient in Sculpt Mode since there's no gizmo and we have a custom Workplane so you can draw anywhere in the defined 3D space and not only on an existing object. But of course, use whatever suits your workflow :)
I slowed down the video and watched again. I have better understanding of how the tool works now. Perhaps I overlooked it, if you haven’t already you should add a link in the description to your addon.
Yeah as long as you can run Blender you can use them, maybe have to adjust to lower resolution curves and shapes and use smaller textures and so on but on a budget PC you would have to approach Blender that way regardless, so generally everything will work
Hey thank you for the support, but what's wrong with QuickCurve? It's working great. At this point 99% of problems are a glitched install, try removing it and then closing Blender, double checking that you installed the latest version, reopening Blender THEN reinstalling :)

@@ALKSNDR Thats an encouraging answer. i'm working with the tools now. thanks!

Yeah there's a nice 1 click baking solution and it's working great
Any chance of you selling the quick tools as a package?

3:25 wow! Is this already in one of your tutorials?
Hey not sure if I have that exact clip but that specific workflow is in the QuickCurve video with the samurais its called The Hill on my channel
Why should I use this instead of just sculpting?

Looks cool but I am confused
Thanks, if you have any questions I'm happy to answer :)

are these tools performance friendly on budget pcs?

Quick curve needs to be fixed it's a mess the rest of the tools are great I love quick assembly it's ties everything together so well
