I was cringing with you about the spider. I can't handle spiders either. When I was a little girl, a spider crawled on top of my foot and it spontaneously hatched it's babies. I freaked out sooooo bad. I have not been able to get over it. I understand your fear. BTW I love what you did with the furniture. ❤
I agree about mid-century...lovely work and the color suits the era of the piece. So sorry you had to struggle with the spider. I try not to kill things if I can help it, too.
Sweet! My neighbor calls me over to remove the unwanted flying creatures. I have special "tools" that allow me to trP them without harm and release them in the yard. (Garden alas I'm American but lived in Nortingham and Glasgow in the late 70's )😊

I’m exactly the same! I’ve even sold pieces on unpainted as I’ve not had the inspiration to do anything with them.
