I recognised that road immediately! It sure is a lot smoother than when I rode through - and when we drove through there, not long after the (first) floods - there were banks of silt like 10 metres higher than the normal river level! Welcome back David - hope the tractor does you well, stay safe and have lottsa fun!!
Hey thanks Captain, nice to hear from you. The tractor is great. I've been doing a bit to it so some more vids to come soon. Yeah, the floods were huge and the sand and silt built up where the bridge used to be sure was high. It's a great place to ride and so close to my home. Very lucky. Ride safe mate.
That would be my pleasure Adrian. Happy to take you through my local national park, then some tracks out to Wisemans Ferry perhaps. You could ride home via St Albans and up through Buckety. I think I might already have this planned out in my head LOLOLOL.
@@returnrider4952- sounds good to me. As I’m a lazy retired person I can pretty much fit in with whatever day takes your fancy. Drop me a “messenger” when you are ready. 🥳
And do suspension upgrade, money well spent. Motor basics are done, Can be a great Bike. Are you somewhere around the Central Coast? I returned to dirt riding after three decades away, this is my third year back. KLX250 to relearn on, then KLX300, currently a KLX400r + a new Himalayan 450 for long rides. Colo, ah, I guessed the bush well. In Brissy for the last 9yrs, but raised a family in Gosford. I do miss the sound of Bell birds. And heading down that way in a few weeks. Cheers.
Hey VonChad🙂I'm local to Penrith, not the Central Coast I'm afraid. I bet you're loving the KLX 🙂 I saw the new Himalayan in the flesh up at Colo Heights Servo on this ride. Its a really nice looking bike I gotta say. How are you liking yours so far, any complaints? The bush up at Colo is really nice, on certain days the Bell Birds are in full song and its soooooo nice. I ride around there a fair bit. Cheers 🙂
Hey thanks. I really don't like all the music people put in their vids so I'm not doing that. I think its fine for drone shots and what not but not when riding. I wanna hear the bike and what's going on with the ride - not people's fav song LOL.

Best bike Suzuki never updated now discontinued 😢
When you get the bike sorted to your liking, I’d love to ride down one day so you could show me around.
