- Hello and welcome to my channel Latina Plants ! Today, I needed to repot the African Violet that I picked up from Lowes. I thought it would be a good idea to show you my repotting process. I will be repotting, propagating, pest prevention, and showing you the conditions they are kept in. This is what I am doing currently after trial and error. So far they are doing good. I did want to update and let you guys know the heat pad is not necessary. One of them didn't like the warmth from it.
If and when I do get an African violet I’m following these steps. 😊
Good to take some cuttings and put into some kind of humidity dome of some kind can just use a clear bin.

I'm doing everything I can not to fill every empty space with African violets. I miss my miniature ones so badly, but I'm holding strong. I love that deep lilac flower on the version you have here. They are such a diverse set of plants. Did you know they have trailing African violets too? Man it's a whole world over there. They even have competitions for best growers...it's amazing.
Oh I didn't know there are trailing african Violets. I am going to have to look them up. African Violets really are so beautiful 😍. I am enjoying learning about them.
