I’ve had 5 knee surgeries on the same knee from soccer and having the confidence to sprint and jump again after surgeries is tough. It gets in your head that the next time I land with my foot crooked my knees gonna blow out again, it gets kinda depressing thinking like that all the time. Hopefully he doesn’t get that problem too bad
Sorry to hear that bro. I hope he can make his way back on the court and be 100% healthy, but a serious injury messes with your mental. I broke my ankle playing basketball 3 years ago, and it's just not the same anymore.
