After rewatching a bunch of clips, CC is comedy gold! Lauren Lane doesn’t get enough credit. Also, I can’t imagine how much fun that role would be to play as an actor.
Fran: If she doesn't wanna do it, you'll have to get Miss Piggy for your project. Lamb Chop: Miss Piggy?! That ham?! Fran: Honey, she's the new white meat.
I just finished rewatching the series last night, and I got emotional when the left the house in New York for the last time. Thanks, Fran Drescher, for bringing this story to us!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ironically, fran’s play idea was the perfect idea for review while mr. Sheffield’s production of the kid’s play was so over dramatic it got a bad review for being tasteless
Poor Gracie. I know what it felt like to have stage fright. For me, it was the elementary school spelling bee when I had to spell certain words. I often froze in fear when it was my turn to spell a word.
See, I wish they had kept Fran like this throughout all 6 seasons. A wise, caring, and beautiful individual who had great confidence in both herself and those she cared about. She may not have been the smartest person in the show, but she was the most intelligent when it came to people and their feelings. I hated how the writers had her become more stupid as the seasons passed, and even made her more and more desperate for a man. And I especially despised how she became so clingy to Max before they became a couple, cause it felt like she had become another CC! And even worse was how in the first season her main priorities were helping the kids, but as soon as she became attracted to Max, it was like they were an afterthought to her. Sure, she was still there for them, but her desperate attempts to hookup with their father made it uncomfortable to watch. She acted more like a mother to them in the first season then she did in later seasons, which is sad since she literally adopted them in the final season Basically, I wish Fran remained like this throughout the entirety of the show, would have made it much easier for me to watch
Yes I also felt this way. I preferred her this way with less lust and more empathy. Lust sucks. Anyway I go to Life Church Online now where I am able to find and interact with less lustful people. People with empathy who are kind.
@@falconeshield True, but in terms of her demeanor when it came to Max, it was just so cringe to watch. It's like when the producers of Spongebob were changed and thus the very nature of the show went from goofy and loveable to grotesque and just downright negative. Same logic applies for The Nanny. They could have kept some of the more cartoony moments, but also kept Fran as the sensible woman she was in the first couple of seasons.
Fran was really the closest thing Gracie ever had to a friend and even a mom.

CC: the investment banker is your father?

CC: Blow
😂😂😂
Did CC bounce the boy on her knees after she said 'blow'?
You can't help but notice psychology was used through the entire show! I love it!

I noticed that at 1:30 she calls him “Honey” and he doesn’t blink.
but she's the kind of person that call honey on everyone
The two characters are being used to one another
