Got my 1-6 for Black Friday. Installed it and zeroed it recently. Love the glass and how easy it is to tune. Definitely getting another for the new sbr build 🤘
Just bought one of these. Not much experience at all with optics, but this seems like a quality scope at a great price. I'm impressed by the optic clarity.
I bought the 1x6 and put it on my ZPAP M70 recently. It is a great optic. Great glass for the $260 price that I paid for. For me The illumination works great and can be found quickly with both eyes opened. Some of my gun friends that work at my local range shot it also and liked it a lot over a traditional red dot. That’s with and without illumination.
I got the 1-6 and love it. Great job guys! The illumination could stand to be a little brighter but I’m not going to be super picky. I’ll take clear glass over brightness any day and y’all nailed that.
Looking at this as an option for my new ruger sfar in 308. How is it holding up on your ar10? still recommend it? looking at engaging targets at no more than 500yards so think this should fit the bil. thanks
@@ismarwinkelman5648 I got the 1-6 for my 5.56 AR. That’s the only thing my vendor was able to order. If it’s awesome I’ll get a 1-10 as well when they become available for my .308
@@alldaveallnight4581 everyone ive talked to or read about really seems to be happy with it. If it’s anything like their red dots or prism optics I’ll be happy, I have a Romeo 5 on my ak, and a bravo 5 on my 300 blk ar. Love them! Super clean and clear
@@Agent_Missouri I have a Romeo 5 as well. The Tango MSR replaced it. Different optics for different applications. The red dot for inside 100 yds and the Tango for anything past that. I’m sure you’ll love it! 👍🏻🤘🏻
I did my research and decided to go with this one...ordered it and it arrived right on time but the reticle was upside down and a little crooked too..sure hate that but Im gonna have to go a different route..assembled in china
What do you think about the 1-6. I'm on the verge of buying one. I heard the subtintions don't line up with actual ranges. It's going on my 12.5, a 300m gun so not sure if it matters. 🤔
I like the torque specs but wish they would maybe hide it inside the "rings" or engrave it either in the same spot or maybe the bottom of the "Ring", just not a fan of the big white letters.
Man said 5.56 to 7.62 ...I'm fixing to get one for moose hunting in shittygritty packed with shrubs and branches type of forests for a 30-06....does it hold on that as well when shooting across an open field...?
When I was younger, I asked trijicon a similar question. They basically told me that once you are sighted in the difference in drop for the barrels was minimal and that the BDC would work fine for whichever barrel length you are using. IF you need to be exactly precise while using the BDC then I recommend spending more then $500 on the optic lol and maybe something with more magnification.
You level the line to the gap between the clamps. Keep in mind thatbits just leveled to the rifle, not level to how you're holding the rifle. No one is ever going to shoulder and cheek the rifle completely level
I wish I had one of those Tango MSR 1-6 or 1-8 to test out on my AR-15. I have heard good things, but I would have to test one out before I could agree. hook me up
Why push the BDC reticle on the civilian market. That's fine when your scope is match to a rifle in an issued loadout, but that optic calibrated for M855 out of a 16'' barrel with no suppressor at sea level won't do me much good with a 18'' barrel pushing 75gr's at 700ft. Or what about swapping over to 6mm Arc, 6.5 Grendel, .458 socom, 300 blk ect. Just give us the same reticle design in mil or moa, and leave the dope to us.
You can figure out what the holds on your subtens are for your caliber/barrel length. Does it really matter if your 2nd subten is perfect at 200yards or 200 meters or 213 meters? They’re for guidance, not Biblical cannon.
@@jamesgarrison5546 Not concerned with round measures of distance. Marks at 1, 2, 3, 4 moa are quicker and easier to use than 2.4, 5.6, 9.5, 14.5. To each their own.
@@higgenbotham even MOA/mrad don’t have any intrinsic value unless you know what they mean to your specific barrel/ammunition combination. Neither is “faster” especially when discussing a 1-6 which aren’t for PRS type shooting. They’re ideal for combat range engagements. Get a milling reticle high magnification for your PRS gun. A 1-6 with BDC is for rough range estimations at close distances. You’re asking for a $5 adjustable wrench to also work as a torque wrench.
Probably because only 1 in 10 shooters know or care, they want an affordable optic they can use and understand and has reference points to help keep it simple. The other 1 is likely going to be buying a higher end optic anyways.
