    Nice video Dave.
    Some of the other advantages of Lithium batteries are that you can draw them down 100% without damage as opposed to lead acid which if drawn below 50% will be damaged.
    Also with a lifespan of typically 3,000 to 4,000 cycles, depending on how deep you draw your Lithium battery down EVERY day, they can last easily 15+ years.
    They also recharge much faster than lead acid chemistry.
    I have 800 amp hours of Lithium (LIPO4) batteries and even run a 10,000 BTU airconditioner about 18 hours.

    DAVE🙋‍♀️❤️🇨🇦‼️Sooo good to see you!!! We got our new trailer - with solar-luv luv luv- and have 12v plug-ins inside and out. We went 13670miles already, boondocking for 6days straight one time, with no prob. (Got a EB70 and a 650watt toaster, for hubby's toast addiction😅🍞🥓🍳) we have Go Power 95watt w/agm battery on trailer. I can plug the powerstation into trailer to recharge as we drive down the road, and it's working good! Yup, was on the road for 101days, loving our new trailer, a massive 17footer!!!😂🤏 say hi to your beautiful Mom for us😍

    Another "plug" you may wish to install is an "SAE" plug for any external 12 volt devices.
    I have a 60 gallon water bladder with 5 gal/min 12 volt pump to refill my fresh water tank. Also a 12 volt sewage macerator-pump to empty my black tank into a 36 gallon "blue boy" cart. SAE plugs eliminate hooking up to your battery(s) with alligator clips.

    What's up Dave? Glad to see you back. If you watch Humble Road, he uses these huge lithium batteries he calls Mamalukes. I think there 930 watts. The portable solar panels are pretty much a necessity if you don't want to bake in the sun.

    Hey Dave!!! It's Jim fair and I'm using my alien alias. I'm still considering a solar configuration for my camper but we go to a campground and pay for power. I do appreciate solar power and am glad it's possible to utilize it in so many ways. I'm waiting until Lithium comes down a bit in cost before I get one. Kudos on another great video.

      Hey Jim!! Hopefully prices will soon drop on lithium. I do like having the freedom to go where there is no power. I’d really like to have about 4 batteries and small AC unit

      Yes I do! The van now has 300,000 miles and still going kinda strong, LOL It will pull anything I ask it to, but a rough ride and A/C is weak. Hope you are well my friend

    Hi Dave! Good advice, as always. Like the cotter pin over the bumper cap idea. Quick question: did you have to modify/upgrade your charger, inverter, or converter when switching from lead acid to lithium.batteries? Thanks again.

    • @davesrvchannel4717
      @davesrvchannel4717  2 роки тому

      I didn’t make any changes from lead acid to lithium. Just remove battery and replace.
