Back in early Apex an IRL friend who I game with said he found us a third that was fun to play with and "really good". I don't typically care how good people are, more that they're enjoyable to be around. Chet Ubetcha (pre-Gibraltar!) joins our party. It only took a few minutes to realize that not only is the guy as genuine as they come, but he was in fact - REALLY - good. Despite not being NEARLY at his level, Chet was always game to run with us. It's gratifying to see him receive the recognition he deserves, go give him a follow!

Nothing better than seeing pure talent that can rock your socks, being so chill.. While the random horizon that runs in between 3 teams and goes down, shouts at his team for not being good.. My lesson I like to live by is focus on yourself and your own weaknesses, not those around you.. But focus on the strengths of those around you.. I think if you do that you get more skilled and also you appear a better human than can actually uplift others
You have to when your character is a giant target and can’t really run from a fight if put in a bad position. Mobility legends can afford to be super aggressive because of their get out jail free card.

It was an absolute monster of an underdog. The one mag ability was much higher then the other subs. Now it's in the box and it's the best gun in the game.
Honestly what I love the most about this video is this guy‘s gameplay is not flashy at all, it’s very objective and gets the job done. Just quality without anything unnecessary ya know?

I like that Gibby allows me to focus on fighting, unlike most legends, you have to multi task to give you an edge. If Gibby is up against another legend, 1v1 everything even, Gibby has a huge advantage. The health buff, aiming down sight faster, and his arm shield, gives you a phenomenal advantage.

Chet is the reason I started playing gibby. Watching him and tollis rip lobbys apart was always enjoyable. I only need 74k kills and I 'll be caught up to my gibby inspiration 😂😂😂
I've taken the Gibby role in ranked and I pretty well understand how to use him with a team, but I've never really tried to just solo as him. This guy really knows how to make those bubble plays! I learned a lot just watching this little bit of gameplay.
Crazy thing is there isn't anything fancy about this gameplay. Just good positioning, knowing when to engage and disengage, and only taking fights where the advantage is in his favor. A display of mastery of the basics and an intelligent player. Dope game.

Like he said in the beginning of the video there could be that one gun that really makes gibi good, one Gun that you are really confident with, in a sense the volt buffed gibi, the volt can be used by anyone, it has very little recoil, lots of damage dealt per shot, good bullets per mag, that one gun buffed gibi

I remember getting absolutely rolled by this guy in season 6 and then seeing him in season 8 as the champion, I spent all game hunting down, killed him, GG he should of rolled me again.

It’s literally customized to assist his shield plays. Hes not relying on snap and movement to win his gunfights. Positioning and aim and iq with his abilities
What I like about this Gibby's gameplay is that he makes it look so easy. There was no point in the video where I felt he was having to rely on hectic movement to hopefully finess the enemy so he can win close battles. Unlike the other legends that need to do that to gain an advantage, watching this gibby was the first time watching Apex gameplay in which I'm thinking: "wow, he''s just chilling and shooting". And to know he won all those fights with an alternator, 5K+ damage, and makes it look so simple. That's how you know he's skilled with his legend. I still remember the time Apex randomly chose a legend for me to play for a match, and it was Gibby, and I was horrified. From the one or two times I played with Gibby, I just didn't understand how to use his shield as it never looked like it turned on for me when I ADS'ed. So I would just die due to how big this character was and that it had no evasive abilities. That game, my teammate was a level 40 something lifeline who was obviously new and stayed super close to me, and we didn't have a teammate in trios. The reason why I'm sharing this is that I remember being amazed after we won each fight we engaged in. I kept on thinking, surely this is the time we die, because I can't play Gibby. But we kept on winning each engagement, surprisingly. It got to the point where we were the last two squads alive, and we somehow against all odds won the game. I remember being shocked. I haven't played Gibby since then, because I still don't understand how to tell when his shield is on. But maybe I should give him another try...
7 months later, you've probably already figured this one out, but it's got like a .5s delay before it pops up in front of you while ADS, so you kinda have to commit to ADS in order to make use of the passive shield ability

gibralitar isnt a very mobile character, he doesnt need to play on a high sensitivity
It's significantly easier to control recoil on controller with low sense. He plays 2 ADS and 3 normal. I play this as well because I have fat thumbs
