We bought a Travato K 2023 a few weeks ago. Love, love, LOVE the bathroom. We do use the shower. I added some Velcro on the back door for the shower curtain to keep that side tucked in and it works like a dream. Tons of room in this Class B bathroom. This van is AMAZING! It even has a shelf and an outlet right next to it under the drivers side bed for my c-pap. Winnebago thought of everything.
@@donnettewebster2504there is a shower curtain on a track that circles the shower. It is a custom 72 inch shower curtain made for Winnebago. I found that this shower curtain would sometimes stick to me as I showered. That is why I added the Velcro to attach the curtain in place against the walIs. I now have improved things by replacing the shower curtain with a 140 inch shower curtain made for circling a free-standing tub. (Bought it on Amazon) Now I have enough shower curtain to totally frame the 42 by 24 inch shower area. I even bought magnets to stick the shower curtain to the metal on the back doors. It takes me 90 seconds to pull the shower curtain, velcro it and add the magnets. Totally worth it for a larger shower space and it keeps the wardrobe and drawer 100% dry. Love it!!
These two are so funny because they both talk like mad and they don’t listen. Just talking I er the top of each other. It’s hilarious and I really like them. They seem like pretty cool friends.
Winnebago put right armrest on passenger seat and a left on the drivers seat. Nice to use when reading a book or just relaxing watching TV on rainy days.
Twin beds that can turn into one big bed, the back bathroom, and the ability to have another bed up front and the ease of driving it ... I want one so badly
We bought a 2022 KL for $126 in Sept 2021, we have 23K miles now and still really enjoy it. Regarding the outdoor shower, that rod system is one of the few things we don't like. It's just awkward to use and not well designed. We use the curtain using some of the larger magnets they provide with the van. You don't need to use that smaller blue hose, the main shower head reaches fine too. We liked aspects of the G model but once we saw how big the bed is when you convert the twins in the K's was the deal maker. It's very close to a king like we have at home, and a bed that large at hard to find in anything under 30ft. We love the Volta system after some early technical difficulties, we haven't plugged in for shore power in over a year. Just normally don't stay in one place very long and since it charges while driving, we're normally bothered with running low. We searched for quite some time before pulling the trigger on ours and we still think it was the best choice. Safe travels!
I love the bathroom and the overall design. However, I’m curious if you can customize or have example designs whereby instead of twin beds, it would have 4 full recliner chair (like business class airplane style) that can sleep 4 people. Thank you!
Love watching you two. Seems like you favor the K over the G. I love my GL! You can't beat the dinette area, large refrigerator/freezer and I think the shower area in the G is more user friendly than the K. It seems like people don't use the K bathroom. I would like to see you and Lola try out the GL. I agree with you the Promaster seats are awful! But I love that the Promaster is wider than the Transit and the Mercedes. I may switch out the drivers seat.
With the water connections on the outside they would sometimes get frozen and Crack. Now water tank and connections being inside that doesn't happen. Also faster to get up and go. We never leave water connected for fear of a flooding situation.
@@dwoodygura Actually, all they need to do to address a frozen area on the cold side of the door using a flexible water line in the heated air space, is to use the spigot style for homes in freezing climates. The faucets come 8-12 inches long. The actual valve that turns the water off, is at the other end, inside where the heated air space is. Then all you'd have to do is undo water supply line and let water inside the 8" piece of faucet freely drain by gavity so no freeze potential. Only less than a 1/4 cup comes out. It's ridiculous they expect you to open the doors to add water letting all the heat out, or air conditioning out and the flies and mosquitoes in... especially at the horrendously overpriced figure they expect people to pay for it. Speaking of which, no one should pay more for this than maybe $5000 more than its price in 2019. If we all stood our ground is only way to get this ridiculousness back under control. My 2¢.
Hank your title says why are class b's so popular! lol have you seen how many are up for sale? at covid times they were very popular. but now there's pages after pages of new and used vans lol just look at the vans behind you! lots of available vans lol not so popular anymore!
New and used lots are stuffed to overflowing and there should be some amazing discounts come October and November. Private party sellers also haven’t come down to earth yet but hopefully this fall and winter as well. It appears many are between a rock and a hard place and desperately trying to recoup the lofty prices they paid over the last 3 1/2 years.

Who would cook inside the van? Grease would splash over the driver seat and cabinet? They need to design a ventilation hood and a cover surrounding the stove.
I like the slider windows and I’ll tell you why when you’re traveling across country and the winds come up, they will force those windows straight up if they’re open and they strip those shocks and your window doesn’t even work and you really have to get it closed and then it never opens again and tell you replace those shocks and they can strip the fittings off of the plexiglass. It’s it’s a mess, just the wind and it just comes up. You know weather is unpredictable and heaven for bid you go to sleep at night with your window open partially so you have a little breeze because that things destroyed by morning. Any weather changes FYI.
So ... I need to open up the back door to get the slinky so that i can run the poop out,the i gotta open the door again to put it back. My wife wakes up when i open the door the first time and gets to hear me "doin the chores while she sleeps in". Not sure she will be able to get through that on, not to mention the smell of the slinky fromthe inside Ditto fot the water loading. And the water pump isn't silent That water outlet should be outside the coach right next to the slinky storage.
Its so crazy when people try and save a little money boom they got hit with prices guzzles at every level. Gas food insurance shelters now just too have a little private and peace. And to not pay a 175 day for family sleep minimum hotel plus food per day 200. To 300 per day family of 4 ...crazy. And unamerica .
Is there any class B van under a hundred thousand because I don’t want to pay that much prefer to stay below 75,000. Out the Door Tax, registration, what ever else.

I looked at these vans, I didn't like the bathroom in the back or bed set up design. The price was way too much for me to not love it. Bought a van and built it the way I wanted for a lot less. I have met a few people who have bought this van. Things fell apart or needed repairs almost immediately. They are beautiful vans but just not for me

With a generator, this rig is a nonstarter. It’s a 2024 model, for pity’s sake! And that generator is obviously not one of the supposedly quiet models. Quite obnoxious to listen to during the video.

The Chess magnet pieces are to secure the shower curtain to the back door to keep it away from you when showering!

I love the seats in the cab of our new 2023 Travato K. Amazingly comfortable!

We bought a fabric, collapsible-safe-to-drink water hose. It still works with the door closed. Problem solved.

One reason may be partly because the complete van chassis is more expensive than a cut away chassis.

Those windows are terrible. They struggle on every one of them to get them to latch open. Imagine when they have just a little wear.
