I am not being sarcastic in any way, with my comment. Just trying to make it a little bit easier to change out the windshield wiper blades on a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The TRICO wiper blades are good quality. Each wiper blade used to come with a rubbing alcohol pad. So you can clean any residual oils 4:23 off the new wiper blades, before installing. I use a cotton ball with 90% rubbing alcohol to clean the new wiper blades. A decent amount of residual oil is removed from the new wiper blades. I do this rubbing alcohol cleaning with a cotton ball, until no residual oils are left on the cotton balls. You can also use window cleaner to wipe the residual oils off the new wiper blades On my 2021 Nissan Rogue. I also clean the windshield wiper arm where it holds the wiper blade in place. To begin,I push button start the Rogue. Quickly push in 2 times on the Windshield Wiper control arm inside the Rogue. Doing this will bring the windshield arms and wiper blades. Midway on the windshield. Making it much easier reach and to replace the wiper blades. There is a clip on the wiper blade that you push in to easily release the old wiper blade. The new wiper blades generally fit on the windshield wiper arm. There are generally adapters that come with the new wiper blade. In case your windshield wiper arm doesn’t work on the new wiper blade standard adapter. It can be a little tricky to get the adapter off the old windshield wiper blade. They generally come following the easy to understand instructions with photo instructions included. For people like myself that sometimes have a hard time understanding written instructions. I follow the photo illustrated photos. Showing me how to remove the standard adapter and how to install one of the extra adapters. Just match up your old adapter from the used wiper blade and install the correct new one. Try not to break the old adapter in case you have to reuse it. In most modern vehicles,Wiper blades always have a clip that you either push in or lift to easily remove the old wiper blade from the windshield wiper arm. ALWAYS make sure you return the windshield wiper arms with wiper blade gently on to the windshield. I always place cardboard on the windshield so a wiper arm that doesn’t have a blade on it. Doesn’t accidentally get let loose. The return spring on the windshield wiper arm. That holds pressure on the windshield. If you aren’t careful and accidentally let go of the windshield wiper arm causing it to crack the windshield. A length of cardboard prevents this from happening Will prevent the windshield arm slamming against the windshield, cracking it. To Return the windshield wipers to the,not in use or down position. I do this by pushing in on the wiper control arm inside the Rogue 2 times quickly. This returns the windshield wipers to the down or off position. The way you replace windshield wiper blades also works just fine.
"if you get bloody knuckles your doing it right" thats not the right way Yes u need to pull down but if u press the Little tab And then Pull down it comes off VERY EASILY no Force is needed
It isn't so straight forward for every one. This is the second video I've watched and the procedure is extrememly different in both. Bloody knuckles is not something to look forward to, for me. Now I feel like giving up and throwing the new wipers out into the yard while screaming and cursing. Eff it!
You’re a life saver! Thank you for this!!
Happy to help!
Did you try to rise the wiper stick up twice it will move wipers in postion to be easy for cleaning and replacement without scratch the hood

You don’t need all this power to remove the old one, there is a tap under the windshield arm, just press it to remove the old one easily.
